For anyone interested, Porsche Club is having an open track day July 20. They need more people to sign up or they will cancel the track day. This means that the runs groups are going to be small so the track should be wide open.
Go to http://int.pca.org for more info.
I went to their track day in June and had a blast. Instruction was very good and everyone had a good time. It's also fun passing people who paid twice as much for their car.

Edit: looks like it is 195. and looks like only 38% full
Anyone else wanna track day? Its a better deal than SCCA (1 session ~ 39 dollars, instead of 1 session ~41 dollars) 5 sessions instead of 4.PS convertibles are allowed w/ factory roll protection

The PCA days are a great deal with excellent instruction and lots of time on track (5 sessions).
Here is an email I just got 10 minutes ago. I believe the cost is $125 and gives the same amount of track time as SCCA track days but there is the oportunity to win prizes.

Snow's team runs slicks don't they?
What Michelins are people running out there that are decent DOT R-compounds?
I could do decent, but I'd be the bottom of the totem for sure, maybe top of everyone running normalish street tires
With some RA-1s... It'd be a different story... Still wouldn't be top, especially with Todd running, but I bet I could whip out some mean times in the Porsche with some decent tires.
All in the driver nothing to do with the tires. Come on Dallin, even you should know that the ONE thing a driver cannot make up for is the insane difference in tires. Even if you are an awful driver, you're guarenteed to gain from upgrading your tires.
And I bet your Evo is a tad bit faster than the Porsche

and if I ever get the evo running right and tuned good then it may be a bit faster than your Porsche but you will get me in turns and in arrow dynamics of your car. and your a much better driver than I.
Who on here has the BB Evo in Orem that works at Fed Ex? I have seen you Every day this week
