Anyone wanna buy my forge bov?? I think I'm going to go with electronic boost control so I can ditch my mbc and mac valve for failsafe and run the tehpra patch with the alt-map harness I have and I want something that's more well part throttle friendly as far as bov...I think I need something adjustable with lower boost it's fine but high boost and part throttle = flutter and maybe it's causing compressor surge? It's just a thought

Looks good but maybe you could even get some wider rims on there?? Seems like it with the wheel wells
Wes's car is quite fast... as long as it doesn't explode or get rear ended... or try to turn at high speeds A clutch like Wes's, with a tranny as smooth as the Porsche's and as short of a throw as our old S2000 would be an AMAZING car to drive, regardless of how fast it could go

The wheel wells are super wide, I do wonder what you could fit, even though I doubt I'd be changing them anytime soon

Your right I've been doing a lot of research and do some testing this weekend, I'm still trying to figure out why the ix turbo died but then again it was on the motor that blew and I put it on the new one so it could've just got ****ed up...or that flutter part throttle when I'm cruising on the freeway etc. could be causing some compressor surge?? I'm thinking of getting a better adj bov that is more DD friendly

Jake this spring/summer I think I'll put a spoiler on my car

a cf lip spoiler

I think the evo x can fit wider wheels then the new sti because in the new dsport with the harman evo x and harman sti they had to roll the rears on the suby but hey still I think the wheel wells look huge I wouldn't be surprised if someone thru some 10" wide on there

Not at all, I just want to see what would win from a dig and maybe from a roll.

I have out accelerated an R1 from a dig to 3rd before the power of the R1 caught up to me...wasted him in corners though. with the newer R6's, you can throw them into a corner (say an on-ramp) just by using your knees (and yes I have done this). This thing is nimble as ****. Id get my *** handed to me if i went up into the canyons vs an STi or Evo. ****ty roads and gravel dont exactly let me take corners that well up there.

Great, that'll add so much downforce... At least get the IX rear so you have some downforce from the diffuser too. You know, I have to admit stupidty on my part, I never thought that a Corvette or an F430 (as examples) would have good downforce since they have little to no spoiler in the rear, but I never factored in the diffusers. I think it was on Top Gear where they showed the Scuderia and talked about the immense downforce created from the diffuser. Silly Jake.

Is that why bikes are always going so ****ing slow in the canyons? I hate my canyon drive getting interupted by a group of bullet bikers who "floor" it in the straights and then go *** backwards in the corners (or, slow enough they almost are going backwards). Seriously, if I can touch your tire with my front bumper because you are going so slow, please get out of the way to let me pass, I promise I'll lose you in the next corner or two. Harleys are even worse, and some SUVs and trucks are pretty bad too... Too bad passing in corners isn't legal Where's my point by!!!! /rant

I'm sure you would, I bet even Ryan being "chicken" still would... There's just too many idiots that go up and then get all scarededed because of the... well... who knows... But I realize a bike can go faster than a car, usually. They're just so affordable that any idiot can get one and pretend he/she is fast. And therefore refuse to get over/yield when "that car" is behind em on the canyon. I have no complaints about the ones who know how to drive. You, Ryan, Mike, Scott, etc... It's the idiot kids wearing a teeshirt and shorts and flip flops and no helmet that are usually the ones who drive stupid. /rant2

It's like the damn kids with Evos these days, thinking they can go fast and taking off the spoiler and such

The only roads I really have experience on in the mountains are Ogden Canyon, Farmington Canyon (all rock and wont go up there with my bike), Old Snow Basin Road, and Trapper's Loop. All of those are up here...Trappers I can fly on everywhere, but Ogden Canyon has alot of gravel on it in the corners cuz its so enclosed. Old Snow Basin Rd is VERY tight, technical, and DEADLY. This is the place if I wanted to get the Evo to tripod that I would take it. I have blasted into corners and had the whole car bounce, so not a smart place to push a bike, cuz you'll pry go over the edge (no guard rail). There is an awesome road I have gone on that goes south from the University of Utah....some really nice sweepers, high speed straights, and some technical corners. I actually ripped the both knees out on my jeans from laying down too far around some of them. Also had all 4 of us get air completely through an intersection LOL. When it gets warmer, Id like to ride some of the roads down by most of you.

And of course a cruiser is going to be going much slower through the corners as they cant lean as far.

Yeah, but most of the cruisers are still decently quick in the straights, which is where the problem comes it. It's like all the cars I'd get stuck behind in the Evo on track East Canyon is by far one of the best drives I've been on, and there are tons of branch roads that are nice too.

I will for sure. And if for some strange reason I don't get one... (haha, trying to have positive thinking about it) then I'll stop by anyway. And that's cool Jason, thanks man!

[QUOTE=wesside;6604254]Damn son you should've gone with bigger injectors... o well 50trim is a good size turbo..not laggy like the 35r Only thing I think is dumb is why the **** would you go with smc meth kit seriously I hope you did your research with setting up a failsafe.

AQUAMIST FTMFW

I haven't ordered the injectors yet so maybe ill get some a little bigger. And I haven't ordered the meth kit yet, so maybe I won't get smc.
