I am sorry to hear you're out though. Get the parts in and stop spending so much money at the booby bars with Dennis so you can make it in Oct. There is another event at Spring Mountain (one mentioned on URSCCA forums for Pantera club) in Apr that I may go to. Cost there is pretty low as well ($250?).

not a 100% out but when is the deadline for reg.? the money is just part of the reason, but i'm just thinkn i want more than two weeks to make sure everything is okay b4 i pound the $hit outta the car on the track. now if it were here i wouldn't worry so much. but down there, i'd end up having to tow it home if there are problems. i'm just a little paranoid. but if anyone should be paranoid i think that would be you.

ahhhh ... but with mine it is a constant stream of breakdowns. Plus mine will be JUST be "fixed". I talked to Joe last night and it looks like there is no chance he will finish it before 5-Mar. Looks more and more like I will be driving the car from LA to Vegas to make the event.

to be honest, now that the S2k is freakin scary fast...I think it would look just fine, I don't know if I like the APR the best, but functionality is more important than looks (AKA you want one designed to flow in with the air flow on the car) but it's too complex looking for me...maybe it looks better in person...and like I said, functionality is more important than looks...and I do like BLKHOLE
This is the same wing as one of the S2K's at Laguna. It was the best looking wing I've seen in person. Carbon fiber looked great and the overall design flowed well with the car. The other car I rode in had a 67" monstrous wing that was set up a good 30" off the trunk!
More functional there, so I've read, because of the extension towards off the back of the car (further back) and the height of the wing putting it in cleaner flowing air. No way I'm going to that extreme. If I did I'd need this for the plate:
