Utah Evos
It's a track in Pahrump, NV like oh...~45 min outside of Vegas (depending on how fast you drive...and if you get pulled over) MSM_S2k and I are going for sure, and I'm pretty sure Robi is too...I don't know about anyone else, though everyone else has still been TOLD...nay COMMANDED to come, are you still having second thoughts and being all iffy about it Ray?
Thanks Robi! It is the APR GTC-200 that I've been most interested in. Let me know what kind of pricing you can get me. Where are you located? My car is currently in souther CA and I will most likley be driving it from there up to Spring Mountain.
I have the OEM spoiler on the trunk lid. I'd like to get another without the spoiler before mounting the wing.

Ray, Have you looked into the APR widebody kit at all???? I don't think you'd have a problem tucking 315's with it.

If you sign up, let them know that you're part of the group coming from Utah and they will give you a 10% discount.
yeah i looked at that kit at sema. that car looked very nice in peson. i called them about 2 months ago and they were still getting patents done. they had the kit in stock ready to go and i wanted to buy it but they said they couldn't sell it to me at that time. said call back in feb. the impatient person i am, i decided just to do the chargespeed flares and figure out something for the rear. i'm actually happy the route i went cause regardless if i went with their kit it's still a lot of work to flare the rear. it's just now i have to fab something instead of buying something already done. btw their kit i don't think would hold 315s. it's wider but not that much.
as for the wing, i got mine today and it was damaged.
mines not gonna sit as high as those pics. only reason why i'm doing it is to get rid of that gawd awful ugly wing thats on there. actually i just don't like how high it sits. still don't know if i'll like this new one but if i don't the stocker will go back on.
i think i'm out for spring mountain. i have a feeling the car won't be 100% ready plus $$$ is tight right now cause i keep buying more parts.

Well keep buying parts Ray, cuz you better be ready for it in October! And Jason, the events are run by different people, this one is run by Racer Factory, VW and Audi guys mostly, and the Spring Mountain event yields A LOT less cars than the SoCal Racerfactory events...I'd say there was probably only 20-30 there, plus all the Radicals. But the one we just went to in Buttonwillow was run by the same and there was at least 40, but probably more there...and this is drivers, not cars.
And as another note, they're supposed to have been re-doing Spring Mountain, so...there should be a lot better creature comforts and ease of things (the gas last time had to be hand pumped out of a barrel)...but who knows, I don't want to look at the website, I want a surprise. And the Racerfactory guys are real nice and great fun to hang out with, and you get WAAAAY more seat time for the money than with SCCA...WAAAAAY more

thanks for the info guys...i did some parking lot racing in my turbo integra. had lots of fun! bought my evo with just enough time to hit the last IVR date, october sometime. and i'm hooked. higher speeds, bigger track and more seat time....equals more fun!!! the layout of spring mountain looks sweet. i'll try to make it
Don't forget driving with other cars, that's a lot of fun too! It's cool to hear a Z06 behind you floor it and watch it fly past, engine screaming...or that TT, that was cool too...stupid fast TT
