jeff, i will call you later on today to get some information and legal advice concerning the situation and how poorly it was handled by not only the cop but the lady who hit my car.
thanks everyone. again i know its not that bad but you all should hear how much of an a$$hole this lady was when i called her asking for information. i would love to sue her and take away from this situation as much as i can simply because she still never even attempted to feel remorse for what she did. im still just baffled as to how you hit a vehicle while backing up and towards a street hard enough to move it 2 feet?

this was infront of where we take my son for daycare. yeah i guess it isnt that bad but damn man just the way everything went down i was furious when my wife was telling me about it. the freakin cop started to get snippy with my wife too when she started asking him what she was doing and what he was going to do about it. he was like "do you have a problem with me or something?!" she was like "no, and how did you get that from what i was asking you?" i swear man, its just never enough. parking out and away from people, driving defensively, braking early, using turn signals, passing on the left side, not running red lights, all that stuff and still my wife and i are surrounded by the masses that just refuse to follow those simple rules. god i hate people that dont belong behind the wheel of a car.
How would you feel if someone hit your Lamborghini, and then was rude! Oh wait you own a Lamborghini, so you probably would just sell it and buy another one with no scratches, or it's more of a statement, and you don't really care about your cars!
^that's not the ****ing point, the point is its a parked car with the e brake on and she was in REVERSE! Who the hell goes that fast in reverse?(other than on a deserted road havin a lil fun) Boostzealot, i feel you, my wife had our mitsu montero parked on the street behind our trailer and some dumb ***** comes around the corner of a residential road doin 40 in her 08 yukon and slams the back of the montero which moves forward into the trailer that is parked in turn sling shoting the trailer forward and ends up totally the two cars and our trailer, stupid ****in drivers!
Good luck on getting it fixed I am sure it will turn out fine
k20turbo, man after reading that comment you first posted i wanted to really confront you about it...in a gorilla type of way. but then i saw how you basically matured and replied with a much more sensible comment. thank you for that. i dont feel like being pissed about this anymore. everyone is right, it was technically minor, my wife and kid were not in the car, and the car is repairable. so thank you everyone for the concern and i will keep things updated.
now on the darker side of things still which has nothing to do with the car being hit is this chick's attitude. apparently she is one major b!@ch and very well might actually be one of the rudest people i have ever met. what im trying to configure is what i can do to her. her insurance probably wont go up very much at all and its apparently nothing to her to be this imcompitent along with disregarding everyone's personal items around her. she seriously had no clue what the car was and didnt care, thats fine, just dont treat my wife like **** after YOU f@#ked up. that makes not one bit of since. i want to get back at her but i just cant figure out how and not because she hit the evo, but because she is one of those chick's that is so far up on her own pedestal that she sees no one that she feels is benethe her. that needs to be remedied. i HATE people like that and i dont have time for it.

That's so sad.If the answers are Yes, No, and No. Then whoopti fricken doo. I've got rock chips all over the front of the STi, one of the wheel well's rubber covers is messed up, and I've got a few pretty decent door dings. Am I sad when I see them on my new car? Yeah. Do I get angry about it? **** no, it's just a car.
See, the guy that hit the Porsche was an idiot, but he got out of his truck and admitted to being an idiot, gave me his card and insurance info and fully admitted responsibility right to the cop on the scene. Hell, he was even the one to call the police. And the Sugarhouse cop that showed up was a really nice guy.
Accidents happen, and trust me I feel part of your pain (the "my baby is injured" pain). Hopefully someone more intelligent than the cop and the lady get involved from the insurance companies so things get fixed properly and you can be done with all her BS. Lucky for me, I've never had to deal with the other people involved being *******s.
