its just a spec manifold, not much bigger than a stock evo manifold. Everywhere i have found has been like 150.00

 

If cops have to get a reading at 36 inches that is impossible. They would be lying every time unless they take ur idle db reading and ur too loud. But 85db at idle is pretty loud for an evo. haha

 

I would think that if that was the law (and I don't know, we need Nelson here, he was always good with laws for us) they'd either have to A) Take the reading after pulling you over for what they thought was too loud or B) Take the reading at your court date.

I'd think it would work just like tint. They can't just give you a ticket for illegal tint without proving it is illegal by testing it. My question is, why are they giving "loud exhaust" tickets to you guys with no real reason except that they heard you and you're in a boy-racer lookin car?
