I read somewhere that keeping the sensor in the exhaust path with it disabled can damage the sensor. Do you know if this is the case? Id imagine with it disabled it doesn't particularly matter, but just in case you'd ever have need to go back...

I'm not sure, I never looked into it. But mine is installed with the defouler/antifouler (can't remember which it is). Don't know if this would make a difference, since technically its out of the exhaust stream setup like this.

Like you said though, you can take it out and tie it off and avoid the risk, if any.

Thanks,

I put mine in the downpipe 6" before the flange for the test pipe/cat, 12 o'clock position...There is a grommet on the passenger side of the driveshaft tunnel that is perfect for running the wires.

There is a sim patch that does not effect the heater circuit, so it is fine left in place...this is in juans car.

There is also another patch that simulates the heater circuit & will let you completely remove the sensor.

I didn't know you put this sim patch in, I only thought it was disabling it. I dont remember if you explained the sim part to me or not. Good work either way. Less problems for me in the future.

I would love to talk about the details with someone in a PM, or perhaps at a meet or something, but please hit me up if there's anything I can offer. This could mean website and db hosting, as well as email services including activesync/push and what not. We have a new hosting product that is really neat, but very likely isn't necessarily needed for our applications here. This could easily mean website hosting for other people offering services, or shops for that matter...
Hey can you Build Web Sites? Particularly ones that Someone can Sell stuff on like a retail site? PM me if you want.

For all you talking about where to put a WB02 sensor, I just replaced my stock rear one with the wideband, and wired the wideband into the ECU. Now I have the zeitronix set to run leaner, helps a ton with gas mileage when I'm being good

The best thing you could do is get a wideband that replaces your stock sensor. And then use the gap bung if your running without a cat.

He kinda grouped the things together but he made sure to right every little thing down. Not only that he made me get out of the car well he showed me everything that was illegal on my car. Pretty sure he didn't have to point it all out. I knew what wasn't legal since i'm the one that did it

I have both a bung on my test pipe and my cbe so that's how i'm going to do mine. Got a spare so i can leave the rear one in and funtioning

You haven't gotten safety and emissions have you. Won't it not pass emissions like that since the computer will say not ready or something like that?
