Drag strip sucks a##, cones are WAY TOO MUCH time standing around and WAY, WAY, WAY TOO little time actually driving. Plus I like to hit top of 2nd gear at least. I guess in that respect, drag strip might be better than cone dodging.

... let's ALL hit the track! My motor is finally assembled and on it's way back into the car.

No Wendover for us this weekend.

I would come out but it really isn't worth the drive for autocross. Now IVR that is a different story.

Sorry for not talking enough trash. I've been travelling for the last 2 or 3 weeks. I'm in the Las Vegas airport right now. I am planning on handing Scott his asssss Then I will beat him at racing also

Freaking (insert what my dad said about auto-x here) and why do I want to "volunteer" to work for 2 hours when I get to drive for 6 minutes?

 

wow that's what i have always thought about auto x.... by the way jake you drive like your racing!!!! when i saw you on 7th you were weaving in & out of traffic like you were @ daytona raceway or something...

 

I wasn't at Daytona jeez, the map I had loaded on the HUD was Laguna Seca... actually, I was trying to catch up to you... when I'm trying to catch up to someone I do that, like that Carerra and S2k I saw tonight... normally I'm pretty patient, most of the time... but I won't deny that I usually try and take corners at the right line... especially On-Ramps, I HATE people taking the wrong line on those, the right line on some of them is practically a straight line but everyone cuts them like 90 degree corners...

 

My check engine light came on tonight. Crap now I am going to have toake it to the dealer and get my warranty voided

 

Take it to Autozone and have them read the code! Mine's come on twice... both times it's been nothing, even Christian said it wasn't anything, as long as the car was still running normal
