Rob, is Mitch's car faster than yours? When are you boys headed to the track? After the wedding bells?
Well, Mitch has never officially beat me, nor have I ever officially beat him. But, about two weeks ago we made a couple of freeway pulls on the way home from dinner. I was just running the flash, and he was running a semi-tuned hydra, and had low compression on a couple of cylinders(which is due to a faulty short block). From a 60 roll he'd pull me about a car fender till I hit 7000rpm when i'd gain back and put a car fender on him, then we'd shift and do the same all over again. So I think it's safe to say that once he resolves the problem with his short block, and gets the car dyno tuned, and I do the same (dyno tune), he should pull me about a car in the 1/4. We'll see. We both plan on being out for the first June event.

Ben. Yeah I got my windshield done. Technoglass were the people who did it. But yeah they put a shifty rearview mirror mount on. I might try someplace else.

Negative Rob, there has not been a trip to Willow Springs. Buttonwillow and Spring Mountain are all I've done, and he's done almost 1 lap around Laguna Seca.

No I did almost two laps around Laguna. One under yellow (track rules for initial lap) and about half a lap at speed.

I could never drive that knar-gnar cork screw corner very well in Toca until Dave Kennedy road along with me at Laguna and showed me the line. One of the best amateur track guys around ... and the absolute BEST instructor I've ever had. I never had a chance to go flat out ... stoooo'pid phvcking hon-DUH ... on the real track, but now I dominate at Laguna Seca in Toca.

Jake had the S2000 windshield replaced a while back and they did a good job. Does that count?

Yeah, they did a good job, but the s2000 has cheap plain glass instead of "light weight" glass.... they did a really good job, came to the house to do it, and did it for free
