Utah Evos
which time attack car are you refering to, their full carbon boxer 6 with 800whp or their limited class sti with clocks on it?
Buying a Buick...
No, probably buying something else, dunno what yet though, just something that is a little cushier than the Evo... and causes a whole lot less stress for me worrying about it.
And no Riley, I'll probably be done racing for awhile, though I will likely come out and watch etc. If I get something else (which is a big if, it requires selling my car for decent amount and buying a new one for cheap enough) it will be decently fast but probably way too heavy for me to race (plus, I'm a little paranoid now of idiots). Too many risks and costs involved in racing to justify it. Keeping the Evo and not racing it is blasphemy, heresy, and all those other religious words... That, and its just plain uncomfortable and worrysome just because I'm so paranoid. Its time to get something that won't end up being a money pit of modding and racing for me, something fun but nice to drive around as a DD.

When I get around to it I'll be selling my S2000 as well. If anyone is interested in a steal of a deal on a very well sorted and prep'd S2000 ... I'll ... of course ... be letting it go for a small fraction of what I have in it.
I also have a very nice, 18 ft enclosed trailer I'll be selling as well.

To you or the car Jake? If you are worried about the car you just get something cheap as your track car then less worry if something happens. As much as I like driving my Evo on the track if something happened to it would be hard to have my dd wrecked and no insurance to pay for it.
Jeremy: to both... Someday I might get something cheaper to take out there, like one of those lovely miatas, and I might come out once or twice for kicks in whatever I end up getting, but for the most part it isn't worth it in any car for the price to play when there's idiots or something goes wrong is too high, even in a 5k miata i'd really rather not slam into a wall or have a mustang ram me in the back because he forgot where the brake pedal was.
Adam: I will be getting rid of them possibly pending finding out if they fit on whatever else I get. Since they totally didn't fit the Evo. And, of course, pending I sell the Evo as well.

Someone asked me about this the other day... We have a deal with the track to run on a per session basis. So we take the car out, get what we need done, and go home. That's usually why you only see it out there for a few hours on any given track/race day.
I think that is one day before GT Live, so i will probably not be there.
I vote for a previous body style M5. Once the Evo goes full race status, thats what i'll probly get. That way munoa and i can have matching cars....again.
MSM, pm me what you are looking to get and I'll let you know if i hear of anyone interested,

Our white "Clock" STI will be participating in the Sim Race portion of GT Live, so get there early for a chance to ride along during the action. The Carbon car is still under development, but will be on display.

That's what I was trying to say, what day? That car has been out there 2-3 times in the past 2 week. More than likely it will be out again this week, we are developing a plethora of new parts on that car. They did have a resent power steering explosion, that might be what you are worried about?
