We're back to the dyno Monday... everything is going very well, but we would rather not rush the maps.

Just wondering, when do we expect to see some official (or preliminary) numbers? Some time this week perhaps?

Thanks.

RMR reflash

I can tell you from fact (dyno proven) that the RMR reflash for its parts works wonders. My stock wheel hp was 220 - with a downpipe and intake, plus the reflash, I am now making 280 wheel hp. That is a 60 hp increase from simple mods and a reflash. When I change the exhaust to the RMR free-flowing one, plus hardpipe my intercooler, I should be seeing about 300 wheel hp. For about $600, the reflash is the best thing going. The other mods can be done gradually to raise the power. There is also a flash for those that want to keep their parts stock. Hard to beat...

I am not knocking the other guys, just pointing out that there is some high-quality stuff being put out by RMR....

Does the reflash set a new rev limit? I know that you said you changed it somewhat, but what has it been changed to and is it pretty safe? I for one need a rev limiter because I can gaurantee you that when driving too fast in the mountains you will be paying more attention to where you are going (if you're smart) and you WILL hit it time to time.

I didn't see the RMR ad on their site for the ECU reflash. How did you hear about it? Do you have a link??

I couldn't find anything on their site either.
But if you read the threads "So Cal EVO Roll Call" and "Just Talked to RMR" you'll see that Chris has had RMR mod his Evo with all kinds of goddies.
More ( patchy ) details in those threads.

If you keep getting more hp every time you test you must be up to 500hp by now!
Where are the numbers already?

Can we just get a idea of some of the #'s you're pulling on a stock Evo and one that is modified. I feel we would all like to get a idea.
Do you have a release date of the pre-orders on re-programmed Ecu.
Thank you for all your hard work in keeping us informed and getting the very best out of the Evo.

Last I have heard was that the reflash is going to make the car better to drive, not really a Hp/TQ. number, but better all round driving experince. That means holding boost to redline!!!!!

Which is good for me, take your time and get it right, we all want a very reliable ecu flash that will not effect any drivablity on our evo's!!!!! Plus the stock look when getting your car serviced at the dealer is just soooooo sweet!!!!!

Take you time,,,,
Thanks
