.....i am sure cosworth did extensive R&D but without the data it is hard for me to determine whether this is a smart purchase....so i'll wait

Cosworth, the leader in racing engine technology, is providing WORKS with 272 cams for the Evolution IX. Cosworth has spent countless hours of R&D to ensure that these cams are of the highest quality available. These cams are scheduled to be in stock by the middle of October. WORKS is currently taking pre-orders to guarantee your place in line. We will be following up this thread with data provided by Cosworth on the performance characteristics of these cams.
Due to the scarcity of these cams, WORKS will require a $500 deposit per set. The price for the WORKS EVO IX cam package is $1,099 including WORKS valve springs and Ti retainers. The first five (5) customers that are local will also be receiving an installation special with the purchase of the cam package for the Evolution IX.
Current P2 customers will still receive the free reflash update and those completing the TR-340 package will be eligible to receive the “WORKS TR-340” trunk lid badge in either bright chrome or solid black.
Sincerely,
The WORKS Team

Great stuff WORKS!
I have the feeling that the people who have posted skeptical comments regarding COSWORTH cams for the IX haven't been watching a lot of racing (not just the past two years).
Don't get me wrong, some data will definitely help sales.
But I have yet to see Cosworth release a product for the Evo that is not THE BEST in its category. You pay for what you get.
P.S. I have a stock IX. And it is staying that way for the time being. I also have no association with WORKS or Cosworth. I just watch a LOT of racing. I mean seriously, Cosworth runs F1...enough said.

It's not that were doubting Cosworth, it's that we would like to know what to expect after dropping $1100. I think that it's more than reasonble for people to ask for some dyno results.
one of my friends is getting one (I think directly from cosworth). he should have a dyno within a month.
If I can get mine at the same time as he does, I will post a dyno after the install. I already have stock baseline and current power output (75HP over stock at 36F hotter temp), so any gains on tha latter will be from the cam and variations from lower temps as the weather is getting cooler
