Hey Tyler,
I'm new to the turbo world, so I'm not sure about a couple things. First, is fully recirculating the air the best performance-wise? If that's true, I would have it recirculating at the track, and vented around town
Also, should this improve upon the stock valve? I've read some posts about the fact that it's plastic and may leak, but should this improve performance (not noticeable i would assume)?

But, if you put this Works/GFB blow off valve on your Evo, you can do a partial vent, get that nice whoosh sound and you won't have to worry about bogging issues (unless you vent too much!). You get to decide how loud the venting will be - and if there will be any venting at all.

Does this answer your question? Please say YES.
1 more time please j/k

A blow off valve is a safety device. No blowoff valve, set to whatever setting will make or free up any power. The "blowoff" is a pressure release that happens in a turbo-charged car when you lift off the throttle. The surge of pressure, if not vented or re-circulated could cause catastrophic turbo damage (think about the turbo getting hit by a pressure wave from the intake side, causing the turbo to quickly stop and even spin the wrong direction!)

WORKS will be sending out the Stealth FX Dual Valve preset for the EVO's best level of blowoff without loss of drivability. Best meaning close to the MAX level with a margin for safety. All WORKS products are shipped/sold that way for your benefit.

you could always throw some 'Stealth FX Dual Valve for the EVO VIII' decals on, stickers are usually good for 10HP per.

Nebolic has an Xflash. Maybe he can give us an update after he gets the GFB BOV installed?
