hmm well i just installed the GFB unit and i'm having some issues with it. The issue is that when you're from a stop, and rev about 2k and let go of the gas, the rpm dips to almsot 0 and then comes back up. Now i tried the setting where i close off the whole valve and recirc it, and it still does that so I have no idea whats going on. Other than that the car seems to run fine. I'm running a little different setting than what works has prsetted it as and its helping a little, the only reason i'm doing that is because i have the xflash. Tho it seems like a friend of mine is having the same problem, he has a works setup flash. I will have to contact Pete @works when he gets back to see if we can fix it.

very bizarre.

It's strange that the setting that work perfectly on one car don't work as well on another. Also keep in mind that they will need to be re adjusted after a little while after they "break in"

Good luck, Pete will be back soon. It's been a long weekend here at WORKS.

Well Pete installed my BOV and P2 yesterday and my car pulls like mad. I too am having the problem with a near stall after reving. We believe it may be due to the AEM intake as 5 of our other cars had no problems.

yeah i agree that the GFB is one solId unit and it does it job well, i think the problem is that i need it fine tuned which i am surely incompetent to do, so i'll be rolling down to WORKS and have the professional do it for me. But for right now, the unit works great except for that minor setback.

Its cool tho, Tyler and Pete have been really courtesous and professional over the phone and trying to help me out (especially tyler). But as you can tell i'm not too good with this stuff, so i'll post up again once Pete plays around with my car and see how that goes.

I thought one of the benefits of this BOV was that it did not have to be fine tuned??? Are there instructions regarding the readjusting after break in?

What do you mean the cars needs to be adjusted? Do you need to be flashed again?

no, i mean, it might be the idle control on the car. might have to adjust that, i wont know for sure until later this month when i bring my car to works. But i have a different situation than yours cuz i have the stock airbox and not an open intake.

Wel Pete was right, it was the intake. Stock box is back on and I am not having any idling issues.
Thanks Pete.
