Is it usual for the car to have a ticking sound like tick tick tick tick every half a second while the car is in idle. Once the car starts moving at about 1500rpm the noise stops until I stop the car. Only mods is evo x intercooler, evo x bov and SRI.

As I recall the car is dead quite on idle before and its only done 20,000km. Thinking of reverting back to stock and bring it in for warrenty, but double checking cause I don't want to tackle that licp again lol.

My car even ticks when its off!

Refer to links provided by Razorlab. The ticking when your car is off is the exhaust... its totally normal and occurrs on 99% of vehicles.

Yah seen those links Razorlab. Thanks for the post but the symptoms is not like those described. Only thing close is over at clubralliart.com saying its an excessive valve clearance or maybe just the injectors.
