Oh I'll let him drive it, I just dont want him trying to park it. I get really nervous then!

Anyhow I need some help from a RA owner. Can someone tell me exactly where the lower power steering cooler tube fits? I cant figure it out, does it go in front of the radiator, behind it, does it go down into the fog light area?

Show me by editting this photo or describing where it goes!

It looks like you guys are doing a bang up job. I guess I have to start reading the Ralliart boards now.

Today I installed the lower power steering cooler tube, and seeing as how it will be on show through my evo ix bumper, Carl polished it to a mirror shine.

I also put the interior of my car back together, however I'm going to replace my shifter base bushings and shifter cable bushings with brass ones, along with the polyurethane front sway bar bushings.

Don't forget the anti seize here, a few people have had issues and it's better safe than sorry.

Anyone know the height and bore of the polyurethane bushings for the control arm front sway bar connections? There are 3 on each side. I've ordered the bushings for the 2 U shaped ones in the middle of the sway bar.

Infact whilst I'm at it - what size diameter is the lancer ralliarts front sway bar - I measured mine and its somewhere between 23 and 26mm - id looked like it was 26mm, but its hard to be accurate. Evo's is 23mm I know that.

Only three? There were four per side on my car. Bore was just big enough to fit the bolt. There was plenty of extra length on the bolt, so height wasn't critical.

New versus old:

New ones in, the fourth is under the control arm:

Where do you get the gold bits from then? I can find the bushes but not the gold plates.

They came in a package with the bushings. Thick washers would probably suffice if you can't find these. All they do is spread the load and keep the center tube from digging into the bushing, the bolt holds the bushings in place.

I've had to pick and mix the bushings, from various placings, but I have bought the following:

Two 25mm Polyurethane anti-roll bar mounts
8 Polyurethane washers - 35m width x 6mm bore x 10mm height
10 penny washers, 35mm width.

I also got word today that my 04-06 fuel pump has been shipped, along with a few other bits and bobs we needed. They have been shipped USPS Air Parcel Post, which can take up to two weeks to arrive.

They are going to give me a quote on shipping the transaxle once it arrives to them - Im sure it will be expensive to ship.

I got word from Fedex today that the transaxle will arrive on or soon after the 9th November. So expect to here how the engine installation goes over the next week or two.
