Today we finished installation the power steering cooler and intalled new HID kits into the headlamps, which are now back on the car and connected up. We also made brackets to install the engine oil cooler - this will be installed on wednesday.

You outta pull that radiator out and give it a good cleaning while it's convenient. Quite the graveyard you've got going there.

Yeah I did actually clean it a bit after that photo was taken actually! The Evo IX front bumper really lets bugs collect on your radiator!

Didn't you have mesh in there?

BTW: I'm salivating over these projectors like Homer over donuts!

Turbo will be next years DIY project! I'm going from 96Bhp 1.6 to a fully RRM souped-up 2.4 - so I think its gonna be hugely fast to me as it is!

Im using proper Evo IX black mesh on that bumper, which lets a lot through. Looks great though.

96HP!!! I thought the UK RA came with a small turbo in there?!?

Isn't the base model Civic equipped with way more than 100HP these days??? 96HP sounds like a rip-off to me... then again, I'd kill for that steering wheel.

Yeah, our Lancer range is pathetic. We get 96Bhp 1.6, and 132Bhp 2.0 only.

Its the Colt Ralliart Version-R that has the turbo. 1.5 Mivec Turbo infact - but it looks and drives gash.

Thats probably why it doesnt sell well... The Civic here on the other hand has 150bhp VTEC, and 200bhp VTEC.

The trim levels in the UK do not change the engine size either.

The Lancer Ralliart, is a trim level on either the 1.6 or the 2.0 that basically adds skirts, momo wheel, stiffer suspension and a strut bar, but no bigger engine. I bought the 1.6 Lancer Ralliart - mainly coz of the momo wheel.

Oh well, now you've got it all: Momo wheel AND a real engine!

@Kevin: That's so cool man! Maybe I'll even get to finally see the damn thing one day!

I'm driving around in a Mitsubishi 5 door Colt Ralliart Version-R - my mums car. 1.5 Turbo Mivec. It's ok, but its got NO power before 3500rpm at all, you can floor it and it wont accelerate at all. At 3500rpm you get a little pull, not much - 0-60 in 8s. It looks gash too. I am however going to be buying a 1.5 3 door colt diesel soon as my runabout, because they get 70mpg and 0-60 in 9s and 161ft lbs of Torque.
