As am I.

Look into making it adjustable though. The ingalls one for the RSX is and the guys will make it softer for street use and firmer for the track. They all love theirs and say that cabin vibrations are minimal but do increase slightly the firmer you make it.

yea i think it may help my grinding. i hear it may be grinding due to the engine moving a bit out of place when you give it full throttle, then no throttle at high rpms.. like first gear... when it moves a bit, it takes a second to get back in place and for the clutch to catch the gear or something like that...... so i BELEIVE it should, i was just hoping you would deffidently know.... with the motor mounts and this, i think our engines will be in place pretty tight

I think the point of the damper is to avoid solid engine mounts, because they normally cause to much vibration for most people who use thier car daily.

If it's a bolt on, no welding required mod... You bet your shiny metal a$$ I'm in for it! I don't know about 1-2 shifts, but 2-3 under nitrous definately cost me time to make sure it was in gear before juicing it again! Keep it realistically priced and you'll have people beating down your door for not 1 but 2. Everyone has a friend that won't buy online! Good job with the R&D too.

AdamRA - You say motor mounts cause vibration?? is it vibration the driver feels, or vibration on your car you dontreally feel, but u know its there... if you can feel it vibrate, is it at high rpms/speeds, or daily driving?

I don't actually have the motor mounts so I can't say for sure, i'm just talking about my past experience with mounts on my RSX I could feel it through the steering wheel and it was annoying for in traffic.

Thats why for most of us the damper will add just enough stiffness to not cause too much vibration through the cabin.

Motor mounts will add vibration to the whole chassis which will be felt anyhwere in the car. It is the point of stock to make them functional although not overkill.
