As I stated earlier, I'm doing the R&D. I have a stubborn shock vendor, and I have to find a Lancer around here for a measuring session This, apparently, is rather difficult. I haven't forgot you guys, and I'm working as fast as I can, which, at the moment, is at glacial speed.
Give me two months.

Just go to the dealership, pretend you want to buy a ralliart, take it home, do your measurements, bring it back and say you changed your mind.

I've ordered from Mitsu a passenger side motor mount for bracket fabrication purposes. I need a few months before I'll have anything for anyone to try out before release for sale. Hang in there.

if this dont work the RRM motor mounts work great. i installed them a couple days ago and they work perfectly, just alot of vibration as expected while i idle or in nuetral.

Unless I missed something isn't that the whole purpose for the dampener, to reduce the vibration throughout the entire body? The dampener and RRM's motormounts are 2 different products.

Lancer Drivetrain Damper

Dog -

The purpose of the damener is to reduce drivetrain lash. Put your car in second at about 3000 rpms, and alternately floor it and fully release the gas pedal. Do this about three times a second. This practice will bring out the worst of drivetrain lash, and you'll find things getting "bouncy". I hope to minimize this with the dampener.

I know, but it's also supposed to be a better option from the stiff motor mounts that will release all the engine vibration to the rest of the car. The vibration end is just as important to the dampener as the moor mounts because the vibration portion is what seperates the two.

Yes, I've heard that the stiffer engine mounts transmit lots of vibration to the car - not a good thing in my book. I can assure you that the dampener won't transmit vibration to the car body.

yea, and all im saying is that its not TOO bad, its a lil bad but its bearable..... just incase the dampner is a little harder to make and he cant do it, or whatever, i dunno.... just throwing it out there that its not intolerable..... relax lol
