Lookslikeanevo your picture is different then the one above my orginal posts it looks cheap and poorly engineered. The pic that you have here looks very well thought out. This other peice looks like bolts on to one bolt on the strut and looks like it gives in two different places. at the strut and at the joint those to look like they would wear and start to twist and move with the engine. Did that help any?

the same was asked to me when i offered the spacers but here is the thing:
have you ever tried to become a vendor here? i think not..
the late kk gave me the rates to become a vendor here and it discourage me to become one.. $100 per month-for a low level vendor- this is money that is not worth iy you are not a big company[/b] btw and i do not want to bash his accomplishments but who asked JOE to become a vendor to sell his pulley?
as for me i do sell the spacers if you dont like them (before installation) ill refund i honor a warranty and i am not a vendor this dos not mean that I sell crap...
do not bash a product just by looks..

works;
i like custom jobs, yes i live for it, but i wasnt bashing him at leaast he has a functional prototype i might buy it for a test car but still in my car Robert's piece is the one on order..

my guess that a firmer grip could be accomplished by making a round mount tor it.. i mean a braket that gets to all 3 bolts

I would hesitate to loose that much thread lenght on my strut bolts... but I have to admit that second pic looks much more convincing than the first one.

And yes, I never understood why nobody's ever able to say anything about selling a couple of customs parts on here without being harrassed by the mods... and even if I respect Joe a lot, it also set a weird precedent when he never had to register as a vendor nor was he ever barred from selling his pulleys. He did prove he couldn't possibly make any money out of it though... but who really does, making some custom stuff and selling it dirt cheap anyway. This won't get anyone rich soon...

Well I don't have a definate answer to why Joe got through and nobody else has. I think his standing on the boards was taken into consideration (like you PR). I think people get leary of a 1st post being "hey come and give me money for a modified screendoor closer!" (yes I realize that the product in question isn't actually from a screen door too). I'm not saying that it's fair to anyone but come on. If no one at all had come forward and vouched for him would YOU have turned over any money to him? No name, no location, no way to tell if your 13 or 30? Buyer beware is a good policy is all I'm saying. You (PR) have been very upfront with everything you've done and I respect that, if I was in the market for a spacer right now, I'd have no problem buying from you. You've been an active member of the community and earned my respect, I feel that I could trust you to honor your warranty. But we've (okay me) gotten way off topic here and almost hijacked this thread from someone who IS paying a hundred bucks a month! I'm with you on this much at least, I'm waiting for Robert's piece!

To all,
Next week I "should" have prototype parts for beta testing, after satisfactory testing with some locals, it'll be on to production parts.

Rob and I tried to schedule a time this past weekend but couldn't find time on Saturday to meet and I went up Snowboarding all day on Sunday. I'm going to be calling Rob today to see what we can do. Maybe sometime this week after work. Gives me a good reason to get out of school anyway.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Rob. He is currently driving out of town and won't be back until Wednesday night. We are planning to meet early Saturday morning at this point so I'm sure that Rob will update everyone then. I'm not going to say too much because this is Rob's project but he told me that his kit is ready to slap on my car for a test.
