I'm so happy about this.... I HATE my piggyback

 

I'm glad to see that progress is being made!!! as far as the sti injectors go, i installed a gt2560 turbo on my 2006 lancer and i am actually running the sti pinks (565cc) injectors. But just as everyone else i'm using a piggy.... and i'm very sick of it. I idle really well and when i give it full throttle it runs great but the midrange is horrible seeing as the computer keeps the afr at 14.7.... it makes me nervous. anyways i really hope this flash is a success because its time for an upgrade!!

 

Anyone paying attention???!!!! my car has been running Hackish turbo reflash for over a year now. THe turbo is off and the RIPP SC is going on and he is doing a tune for that.

 

That much is understood but you guys aren't selling a kit and Micheal isn't going to fly down and tune our car for a price we can afford. I still don't understand why your moving on to the ripp sds if you still have work on the turbo to do? Not to mention you guys aren't very informative, you don't post up news , nothings on your website not to mention your in Canada, while I understand there are ralliarts there most of the people on this forum aren't. I inquired about your kit off of your car and got no pics, so something seems a little off here. I think you guys need to put some effort in products for the public not tell what you have but it's not available ... Urgh I'm sorry I'm not trying to bash you guys but I still see the same things being said as 6 months ago..

 

I have been for the past half year...But I've also been waiting for my stock to come back to me : / for that same time. I've been very patient and I think hackish is finally sending mine back...I hope.

Update from the tuner,

Tuning with ECU Flash for us RA owners is far from a reality right now. There's just too many unknown variables in this infancy stage of it....and yes he has confirmed the AUS ECU is different from ours.

Have you considered emanage or one of the AEM products?

 

I was talking to Dan about some of those products and he was telling me that the issue with those units is that they can not talk to the the MAF on our car. He has been out of the game awhile so its possible that the new units can do this? Now i was not wanting to go full standalone.(if thats what you are referring to). Im just wanting to get a couple more lbs of boost without spending a ton of money. I can deal with doing away with the 5th injector and going with 4 bigger ones and a tune but not much more than that.

Bah! This is simple, if u want a reflash use a mirage 97-99 ecu and u can eliminate the flow meter too if u want to. Eclipse computer works to. Do your home work and that's it. And it works ! In PR we have some ralli art running very good with reflash and without problems

 

we are not forgetting anything! I've been very impressed with Hackish but he has only been able to flash a small percentage of the RAs. Our ECUs are different in the US than they are in Canada... there are far too many variables for us to tear appart our cars and mail ECUs back and forth month after month in hopes that we get lucky.

The checksumming was done when we last spoke about this. I just need to turn the crank on a release. I was hoping to have some sort of definitions at the same time as the release, but it is sort of a chicken and egg thing...Colby.
