Does he use the tactrix alone?

I think using the tactrix is possibly how he gets the ROM flash onto the ECU. Don't quote me on that though. I've had to put the dyno session on hold, dealing with a family issue that's just weighing on me right now.

Nonethless the banter the reflash has generated is fantastic nontheless, nothing beats car enthusiasts talking smack

Well a bird told me that they were having trouble with the computer system that reflashes the ecus and now they have a new system etc. It may be possible that your ecu was just a dud from that problem. ?? I'm not saying this is the problem but it could be a possiblity. ??

Well I've been trying to get a hold of him, since my ecu was a little bugged. I've been running with mivec sort of working for 3 months? Or 2 and a half, not sure haha. But he has had some problems with the flasher, He has built a new one, and then some other issues. But he said everything is go and he is getting all his back'd up work going. So he should be good soon

My ECU has been at Hackish's for the past 2 weeks. He's trying to find a car to check on it. I don't know how long it'll take, but I'm hoping it doesn't get to a month...

That's my estimate...

I don't know how long it'll take, but every time I ask, I get the same answer: "Need to get a car to dyno it and check what's wrong with the reflash".

These are the most expensive $450+ I've ever spent...

From this experience, I've learned that you need to see multiple unbiased results while researching before just going head first into a purchase.

I've always learned from other people's mistakes... I guess this time I made the mistake before I learned...

The very reason why I will not contemplate getting the reflash until I see how this plays out. I'm not saying that everyone else that already has it has been had, I just would not like to be that ONE PERSON who purchases a product with great reviews only to get negative results.. I hope all works out well for both parties involved.

I would put my money on openport2.0 cables supporting RalliArt long before this gets off the ground. where are the reflashing Ralliart tools for the community? there are none. this seems very closed box like ecutek. Send your ecu to them, haha, why can't tuners do this? its because he probably opens the case up and hooks wires into your ecu.. I would rather plug into the OBDII port and reprogram like ecuflash, evoscan, or ecuedit, much safer.
