Accolade=bad business

What has happened is Accolade had posted 04 Ralliart grilles on ebay, their "buy it now" option was a good deal. So, I went ahead and purchased this item. Well, the lowest shippng that they offer is 3-day delivery, that was an extra $18 + $2 insurance. The total came out to $58, which is a good deal. To make a long story short, I had paid for this it on Dec. 21 and today is Dec. 29, I get the feeling like I have been taken for a sucker. Like many other people on this forum, I called the 1-800 number (all lines are currently busy) I think that move only works for some people, I cant imagine Accolade being that busy for body-kits. Anyway, I am going to get in touch with ebay and get my money back if I get no response. I am also going to get a hold of the Better Business Buearu, this is rediculous.

Tell us something we don't know! Sounds like status quo for them.

These grills didn't even last.....a few rock chips now they are rusting. Only been about 3 months or so on my car. Wish I would have just paid out the *** for the OEM mesh ones.

I have been voicing my dislike for Accolade for some time now. I am surprised they are still in business.

Thumbs down

Same thing happened to me:

Now let me explain how to deal with these people. So Lets start !!!

I order the item on Dec-25-05 and made payment thru paypal on the same day. Here is the link.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=8024413948

Right after i purchased the item, i emailed them at shipemts@body-kit.com to find out when item will be shipped. No reply recieved at all. Still waiting for their reply.

Also tried calling 1-800-AERO-KIT about 16 times a day and always got the voice recording saying that all the associates are busy with other customers. Even at night 3:00am in the morning....all associates are busy!!!! yeah right ......

So lets move on..... Finally i decided to contact them from these forums becuase they know that they have to answer our messages no matter what. If they dont answer them, they will loose most of their business thru these forums because they are scared that we will write negative reviews. So.... i went ahead and messaged user "mike@accolade" for the status of my order. He got back to me one day later and told me that they were veru busy with the christmas holiday rush so they couldnt ship my item on time. I worte him back saying that on the ebay listing it says that item will be shipped within 2-3 business days so wass up with that bull****? And after all that, they finally shipped my item today (12-29-05).

Just to let u know, seller " zachrymotorsports " is actually DAVID ZACHRY who works for ACCOLADE. The item listing says that item will be shipped from Rancho Cucamonga, California so lets wait and see where they shipped it from. I will let u know when i get the item.

In short, ACCOLADE will only answer you thru the forums because they are scared on loosing business !!! Contacting them thru PHONE and EMAIL will not help you at all !!!!

I understand that they were busy....but not answering emails is something really fishy and yeah the 1-800-AERO-KIT number is just a big joke!!!

Sorry to disappoint you, but for the 6 years I have been modding cars, Accolade has always had a reputation for poor customer service. From seeing other people, the part will come, just a matter of time. Combined with Christmas and the busiest time of the year, give it time. It will come, eventually.

if you guys did buy from them on ebay and truely were screwed and can't get it resolved properly, you should just give accolade "negative" feedback on ebay for them as a seller b/c we all know how the feedback rating on ebay is like gold and everyone actually does check out feedback before buying. That would actually spread the word much faster of the company problems. Just my opinion, maybe will help you out

hey everyone sorry for the delay please have patience, 04lancerEsGuy you ordered on christmas day, we shipped 3 days later please forgive us because im guessing your package will arrive 2 days later then we stated? But typical seller / vendors ship within 2 weeks so we are half that time, but again very sorry for the delay.

please refrain from calling our toll line until after new years our secretary christy is on vacation, leaving us to rely solely on emails and we are bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Thank you guys for your patience.

To canada our shipping times are not on par with our US shipping, because it is another country and it does go to customs inspection and the like.

Mesh is metal, and metal does rust, even if powdercoated moisture does get in. what you can do is just remove the mesh every once in awhile and spray some WD-40 to keep it in great shape for your harsh winters.
