Todays updates: I called today and the lady I was talking before (service manager) has gone on vacation for a few weeks.. so... guess i'm SOL for a few weeks while she's gone unless she's delegated the work to someone else...

If my mechanic wasn't my friend I'd be haggling him for answers. I mean the longer you wait the worse the tranny could or might get. You paid the money for your car including the warranty, now get back there and tell them you want service, and that you dont' give a rats *** about whether or not their service rep is on vacation. There are other higher authorities that can make that decision.

thats true, but on the phone i asked specifically for the person, not about my car. "Hi, is (name) in?" "no she's on vacation at the moment and won't be in office for a few weeks" i never identified myself so they aren't BS-ing me about her not being in. but I'll call to talk to someone else instead in a few days.. just busy with a lot of work at the moment.

I'm not accusing you of this, I'm simply stating a point.
I would agree with everything that ambystom01 has stated in this entire thread. Once you start "modifying" a car, guess what? Stuff might break. Someone said to put it back to stock and take it in to get warrantied....that is shady as hell, and is a sad attitude that people have today. Take responsibility and fix it yourself.

Is my car just a freak or something? 130,000 miles, autocrossing, drag racing, and track days, and the trans shifts just like it was new.
+1. While not as many miles as Otter (only 63,000), trans is no problem. {knocks on wood} I have kept it pretty happy though (fresh lube always makes teh trans happy).
Oh...and no need for the double de-clutch downshift here. Just a rev match will do or perhaps a heel-toe from time to time.
