Thanks guys, so what you both are saying is that I need both the relay harness and the anti-flicker capacitor to work for our Canadian DRL issues.

Also I found this guy selling a DRL Bypass module been on alot of forums and reported to work great on US DRL and even reported to have worked on a 06 lancer even though he makes them for the 08-10 lancers.

anyone tried these?

If I disable them my DRL would just be the halo instead of the HID

I think you need a 9007 connector though to connect to the stock connector. unless your projectors came with an adapter.

Yes I already have an adapter on there.

I ordered the bypass from ebay and will take the chance. I will report back on my results.

As my back up I will install the relay harness with capacitor and see if that works.

I tried all those anti-flickering devices and none of them worked, so I pulled the ecu and cut of of the pins. Did it 4 years ago, and I have no problems with my car and no DRL.

Thanks but I am looking for a less permanent solution.

Maybe I will try to find a spare ECU from another ralliart and cut the pin off of that so I can always switch it back if I need to.

However I am hoping that this bypass works for me.

If you can find an ECU from a US ralliart even better, because you won't need to cut the pin. And this method can be reversed, just to to solder.

Hey everyone, I just want to report back on the DRL Bypass

I got the DRL Bypass (made by jrox) in the mail today from ebay and installed it on my 06 Ralliart and I can CONFIRM it works as advertised and anyone wishing to eliminate anti-flicker and or eliminate your DRL you should definitely buy this relay/bypass.

It is very high quality build and I am very impressed on how well this worked! also there is no capacitor needed with this relay setup!!!

yeah? cool, so if it bypasses the DRL you wouldn't need the capacitor...good info
