Small turbos do not have lag comparing to bigger turbos like a 16g, 20G, or any turbos pumping over 350 flywheel HP.

Ever seen a big Supra turbo . . . it has lag but it is offset by its bigger displacement and extra cyls. Put the same in a 4 banger . . . you're going to have a very hard time hitting its sweet spot in the rpm band.

 

I would love to race a stock 180 Hp 1.8T just to see haw it turns out. My friends jetta was dissapointing. Has anyone done this?

 

i raced one...dont know which one it was though. I embarrased the hell out of him so he was probably the lower model. He did have filter and exhaust and BOV too. He sounded good but didnt go anywhere.

 

i test drove the jetta GLI and the turbo kicked in before 3000 rpm. i believe that is the 180hp one. it was pretty quick felt awesome through the turns. would have bought one if i didn't buy the ra first. much better than a regular 1.8t, and the seats and wheels are sweet. actually the whole interior was sweet, but had a small back seat.

 

easy! You'll smack around the S... ive raced an XRS and beat it. I thought I would destroy it, but they have more potential than I thought.

If it means anything, my gf has a auto jetta (122hp, 115trq) and I obliterate it. Pull well over 3+ cars... she wants a new car so bad

I'm wondering who would have bought the Scion tC if it were available when they bought the Ralliart.
Scion tC performance: 0-60=7.4 1/4 mile=15.6 Top speed=127 skidpad=.82g slalom 64mph
perks: 14.5 gal. tank (Ralliart 13.2 gal.) Full panorama moonroof on all models. Nice interior.
Ralliart is a tiny bit faster. Scion tC has a good amount more styling.
