Ralliart Lancer vs. (insert model) [MERGED]
to me..a tc is just one of those cars you just drive around and dont fix up..i mean cmon its got a camry engine. i used to like the TC..but ever since i met this one guy who has one..ive grown to hate it..he thought his car was the best in its class..this certain guy who has a tc was so cocky about his car..saying he can beat a stock RSX type-s, CIVIC SI and the RA..so to me TC = Total Crap..
oh yeah ive whooped the **** out 5 tc's already..hate that car.

We all know the ITR is pretty much the king for the 4 banger, NA. There is no reason to expound upon it more.
When I had my Mitsu, there was a hyundai owner (few easy bolt-ons) who got offended driving next to him in the rain (moderate) for a few second. He wanted to race me on a pothole ridden road + rain = prove his manhood for his GF. I saw them, because they didn't have tinted windows. I didn't want to try, risking a wipe out to both cars.
I have also seen a Kia w/ intake and auto ran the 1/4 mile. Unfortunately, my fellow DSM'ers took pride in torching the poor guy by a landslide. To me, it wasn't kosher.

not that this counts for anything but I beat a 96 mustang GT 4.6 with a crappy driver last night. After I beat him he was telling me that his engine wasn't working right and then he told me that he was having a hard time getting traction and he wanted to race me again. So I did and he missed his 1-2 shift. So I just gave up on it after that. Ther is no honor in schooling a driver that is that bad.

I do believe the pre-99 stang (well some of them) had either the leftover 302 motor or the very detuned 4.6 liter. 'Stang owners compalined so much on the HP figure that Ford fixed the problem in the +99 model . . . you can see the taillight difference. Of course, the new 'stang . . . you can spot them 1/2 a mile away . . . kinda like a sleek version of the classic dodge charge w/ hints of the classic 'maro ss.
There are only 3 major cities in FL: Orlando (o-town), Tampa (TB), and Miami. Don't know if I can repair my talon anytime soon . . . bad ISC motor = toasting ECU (common DSM problem, besides beatup sychros like others). Ecu will cost a lot.
had a little fun with a newer golf vr6, getting on the highway coming out of the toll booth, was just a quick run to like 65 or so. he got me by about 1/4 of a car but he also was the one that reved at me and had about a car length start. i didn't think i could keep up, but it was a fun few seconds. (Don't worry, there were no other cars around and it was just to 3rd gear)
