word. I think those SCC bastards would crap their pants if they took a look @ Manny's car.

 

I drove the RX8 MT right when i buoght my RA and I was REALLY unimpressed. No low end torque and its not as fast as I would have HOPED 238HP would have been. I think from a stop that a RA would AT LEAST hang and if its a good driver...BEAT a stock MT RX8. I am sure some will disagree and they MIGHT be right...but I drove BOTH and bought the RA because it was PLAIN and SIMPLE a better feeling power band. oh yeah...and $10K cheaper.

 

Im racing this guy at the track but dont know a thing about his ride.

I can barely estimate de HP, the suspension looks amazing, rain tires, FWD, seems N/A, that about all I know. I dont know neither how good driver he is, but looks wild...

Well im thinking if i get the 2005 tiburon i can get a exhuast kit and hook up the dual exhuast toghether or get a lancer ralliart and just get a cold air intake and a exhuast kit

I don't know much about tibbies but I believe thaey are about equaly fast. So do you want a 2 door or a 4 door?

 

The Tiburon weighs ~200lbs more than the Ralliart. It also seems like the RA makes ~180hp based on dynoes.

So it's 3000lbs/170hp vs 2800lbs/180hp.

Not based on dynoes. RA dynoes at ~150hp. What does the Tiburon dyno at?

 

It does seem like the RA is underrated powerwise according to what everyone says. I would really like to see what it would really do if you dynoed at the crank.

 

For arguments sake we'll look at crank HP here.

What it really comes down to is what are you looking at for these cars? Best bang for the buck? Modd-ability? Sportiness? Show/shine potential??

I know the RA will have more (probably already does) aftermarket support then the Tibby will.

I've driven the Tibby a bit. Its not bad. Having said that...I still bought a RA....and for VERY good reasons. It handled better and just felt a little sportier and had a nicer feeling tranny. It was also better on gas too!
