The Ultimate 2009 Ralliart Thread mega merge
I had a good suspicion they would bundle the Recaros, HIDs, and Rockford System in one package and force it on you. I'm guessing this option will be $2500. The GSR SSS package is $2000 and I'm sure the Recaros are more expensive than the big spoiler. So with an educated guess it sounds like a RA with it's own SSS package (Sight, Sound, Seat) will come in at around $28k sticker. Not bad at all.
any clue what the warranty is? i doubt it'll be 10 yr drivetrain because of the standard SST but if it is...
i can see myself in this car with just a piggyback and it would be everything that i'd ever want for a reliable daily driver... AWD, HID, SST, recaro, turbo, etc.
the $10k saved by buying this car over the MR can be used to get parts that i actually want and will use. i'm a city slicker. far, far away from mountain roads and race tracks. not that i wouldn't love to drive in those places, it'd be a dream, but i'm realistic. i won't need AYC, the extra stiff bracing, extra wide track, etc. that the evo has over the RA. i want AWD for the snow we get in NY, the HID's for the visibility, SST for the bumper to bumper traffic, etc. the only thing that the evo has that i'd really, really want is the brembos. but that can be easily fixed

i think he means ACD...there is no ASC on the RA...navi is an option by itself
Inquiring minds want to know! (But I think your right, DM)
Price
We wont have an idea of MSRP until the first one shows up, but my manager has been saying a base model will go around $25K.
I will see if I can scan these pages into the forum, but at the moment I have no access, thats why I typed it out. It has the options for the regular lancer also. The GTS now comes with a 168 hp 2.4 L DOHC.
The new colors sound cool too. Octane Blue Metallic and Rotor Glow Orange Metallic.
Also the GTS now comes with a High-Contrast Meter Gauge, whatever that is. It just says new next to it.
The ES has an optional Sport Package: Large rear spoiler, Front and side airdams, fog lamps, chrome exhaust tip, and leather wrap steering wheel.
Oh yeah, and to the person that didn't know what ASC was "Active Stability Control"

I can confirm that target base price is around 25 or "mid 20's" and this includes SST. There will be no manual option right now. Nothing has been released about this option for the future
