This describe's the Evo's system, but I assume it probably applies to the Ralliart as well...
Active Stability Control (ASC)
Active Stability Control stabilizes vehicle attitude while maintaining optimum traction by regulating engine power and the braking force at each wheel. Taking a step beyond the previous generation Lancer Evolution, the fitting of a brake pressure sensor at each wheel allows more precise and positive control of braking force. ASC improves traction under acceleration by preventing the driving wheels from spinning on slippery surfaces. It also elevates vehicle stability by suppressing skidding in an emergency evasive maneuver or the result of other sudden steering inputs.[1]

the RA has BOTH ASC and ACD. look at the interior pics of the "concept". you can clearly see the ASC OFF button and the ACD controller.

I was just informed by a rep from Mitsubishi USA that we should be seeing the RA within the next 2 months. He didn't sound certain, but he was very hopefull.

o well 2 months would be really nice... I would love to see this car on the streets in 2 months. But if this is true about comin out soo soon why isnt there more information out? Colors.. MSRP...Option Price.... Curb...?
I called around last night and the only dealer who told me anything about availability also told me they'd have two MR's on their lot next month. I raised the bull**** flag and asked him to verify that with his rep and call me back. He never called back 
My boss just delivered me the factory packet on the new 09 Ralliart. I can't wait for it to show up. It is way better than I thought.

the outlander has ASC, the eclipse has ASC, the 2009 GTS is supposed to get ASC (at a later time or as an option?), the evo obviously has ASC, the preproduction RA that looks as production ready as you can get has ASC, etc....

the MR has the tall spoiler right? Cause I saw .an Evo with that taller style spoiler today. I was only able to see the rear end hanging through the doorway at the dealer, looks like it was being prepped
I wish I knew about the RA before I bought my GTS, I'd much rather have the RA for a few thousand more
