The Ultimate 2009 Ralliart Thread mega merge
its a fine line with the gsr base being $32k , I think they need to have the car priced at about $25 k .... Price it enough away from the evo and the $7k difference needs to justify going up to the evo... And also stay in the price range of the wrx.... Its pretty much a perfect placement
New pics from Toronto Car Show, the Canadian specs might be different from US specs..

Hrm, also 253 ft-lb of torque. Maybe I would rather have this than an evo ô.O
What's up with the different head rests in the back?
Maybe they are bottom of the line Brembo? Man why do I want an RA so badly now :P. Does anyone know how close the SST transmissions will be to each other between the evo and RA?
It seems to me they would want to put finer safety grille between the body and the IC. Those holes look rock puncturing good.

if it has brembos, then brembo did a good job of hiding that fact in the pictures. No logo on them if you zoom in.
it looks like it lists all the options as 'features'.
Interesting how it lists AYC, when Mitsu already specified the type of differential used in the rear, and it cant support AYC.
Is canada getting an evo this year? If not, it might make sense for mitsu to offer more upgrade packages to compensate in the ralliart just in canada.

evoX has already been launched in Canada, they just reduced the trim offerings down to 2, GSR and MR (from an earlier 3). Click on http://www.mitsubishi-motors.ca/Home.aspx to see options etc. for the two EVO trims.
Those seats appear to be leather or is this just me?

the recaros in the MR are leather. The basic recaro option in the RA... probably not leather. but they would most likely offer an upgrade to the upgraded recaro package
In the show, expect the floor model to be decked out with everything imaginable and then some, and the guy at the booth will tell you thats how it comes standard
welcome to the auto industry

as far as i know the 1st year will only come with the sst, maybe the 2010 model will offer 5speed if enough ppl cry about it. i love 5speed but my next RA is gonna have to be the sst model.......my fiance cant drive manny
dont think its wrong as they appear to be talking about a turbo diesel motor, that would make that number make sense.
250 sounds more like it if its standard combustion type motor
I wouldve never expected them to make it diesel, but then again its a concept so it may change?
