Wouldn't let anyone in though.
Mitsu reps were useless...had no clue about when it would hit showrooms.
Apparently the Canadian version (which I assume is what they had in Toronto) will only have a single option package, which is described in great detail at Auto North:

Lancer Ralliart’s full time All-Wheel Drive (AWD) features Mitsubishi’s Active Center Differential (ACD). The ACD unit employs an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch center differential, vectoring drive torque to the front and rear according to different driving conditions to realize the best balance between steering response and traction characteristics on tarmac, gravel, or snow surfaces. Lancer Ralliart is also equipped with a front helical and rear mechanical limited slip differentials.

awesome article. answers a lot of questions, but can't tell if the US cars will come like that. i mean we don't get the heated seats that the canadians get

recaros standard? awesome! no S-Sport for SST? damn! no mention of HIDs though...

looks like the ASC with TCL will be some version of ASC like on the outlander?

i'm kicking myself for not taking more pics as I was more interested in finding more info about when the thing would be available and kinda forgot about more shots. I've stared at the pics on the Mitsu sites long enough and want one ASAP.

One salesman there said he could get it "right away"...PURE BS!!!!!
He said that more likely there would be no room for negotiating. Hopefully he's wrong about this. Surprisingly there wasn't any crowd's clamouring around it. Everyone was around the MR. I'm sure he just wants my deposit on the car. He said he Ralliart on display would cost about $36-37000 (canadian) as it was loaded. I've got his card and will call him this week and try to get some pricing info from him.

The Ralliart on display was pretty much loaded up from what I can see (wouldn't let anyone inside it or the GSR and MR on display). interior had the TCSST, large screen Rockford Fosgate stereo unit, moonroof, controls on the steering wheel, single piston front brake calipers and Recaro's. It looked exactly like the one on the Mitsu US and Canadian web sites.
One interesting thing I noticed was that the paddle shifters don't rotate with the steering wheel, thus harder to turn and shift at the same time.
If you noticed on the pictures I took, the front bumper doesn't show any drilled holes for the licence plate (offset on the side as in the Evo's), either in the middle or on the side. My bet is it'll be like the Evo's.

I believe it's like that in every car with paddle shifters. Even in rallycars. They have just bigger paddles.

$36-3700 fully loaded man thats in the gsr price ranger. What happen to that 25k range that they were telling. I can guess now that the base line would be around 30k which is kind of high for my liking.

You didn't notice the mention about canadian dollars?

It is useless to speculate about the price. No one knows it yet.

Wow this is more appealing to me than the 35k evo sticker . I suspect with a flash we would be back in evo territory. Too bad the brembos aren't an option how about a sight, sound, seat, stoppers package? I going to guess that this car is probably be the more popular drag strip choice. And theres no reason that any of the new aftermarket parts minus the suspension wouldn't work. I think im gonna buy one

Thats $35,776 - $36,768 USD. bs

Although the Canadian and US dollar currencies are almost equal, the prices here and there never are. Check other cars currently for sale. Canadians pay much more than US customers. $36k in Canada means much less than that in US, despite near parity of currencies...

So are the recaros going to be an option or not? According to mitsracer they'll be included in an options package but according to that canadian website the seats will be standard. Is this the difference between US and Canadian versions?

Oh and I guess this is my first post, so hello everyone. I'm seriously considering the new ralliart once it comes out so i guess thats why i joined the other day.

They told me the same thing about getting a Ralliart right away...as well as somebody paying $60000 for an Evo already, which is crazy.

I think Mitsubishi is going to drop the ball with the Evo and RA in Canada with prices like this...it's just too much $$$$ for the kind of car your getting.

Well, sort of. Its like all real sports cars...ferrari, lambo, GTR, etc. They all have large fixed paddles. Its the rest that have non fixed paddles.

Many Rally cars have a huge circular 2 way shifter behind the wheel. pull to upsift, push to downshift

The fixed position is best for real performance cars as it does not change. Spin your wheel around more than 90 degrees in a non fixed position paddle car, and its decidedly more difficult. In the evo MR, you can reach the paddle at anything upto about 70 degrees off center, and more than that and you should be shuffling the wheel to avoid cross up your arms and getting to far form the paddle.

You can also of course use the main shifter rather than the paddles
