i dont know if anyone else noticed this in the official '09 RA thread but is it just me or does the new RA hood look like a rip off of the RSX's Mugen style hood...

 

Pretty sure that's wrong. Mitsu's own press release states ~250lb/ft.

I don't think that the semi-auto trans is a killer for me. I'm buying an RA, not an Evo. As long as the internals can handle stock Evo power, I'd be more than happy.

I'm glad Mitsu finally decided that the Lancer was worthy of an orange color. I'm the kind of person who will wait and see on a new car, but I'll have to give the RA a good, long, hard look when it's released. I'll be due for a new car this summer, and I'd like to get rid of my (now wrecked twice) RA as soon as economically possible.

 

not to nitpick, but that aint a mugen hood, thats a cwest hood

 

that isn't bad for the price 235hp and 253tq. I think it wil be popular in the market

Wow...I'm staring at my new car. I was hoping for something like this.

 

They did this with the EVO X too. All they did was announce it will come with the SST and people were questioning if it will come with the 5 speed. It will be very sad if they don't have the traditional manual.

 

yup i remember that first announcement...hoping that this is the case too (manual released as well)

well, the current vw r32 switched to DSG only....so.....

 

The only cars that have cvt.

 

The difference being the RA's hood vents are there for more then looks.

 

hope my turbo'd 04 ralliart makes a good downpayment on this beauty in 09....

 

i can very sadly say that this dissapoints me that the RA is only coming in an auto for that i will find a used Evo or get the new GSR which comes in a 5spd. The MR is the only one coming out in the SST. But lets hope that the new RA does end up coming out in a 5spd. Now answer me this Y does Mitsu always F**k up this Sh*t seriously i know i know the whole buying thing but y dont they also come out in a 5spd too. gotta remember its Mitsu they might surprise us (hopefully)
