^ heat can be handled with a good cooler, just trying to get the power thru it will be the major problem im guessing

I think the computer will be the hurdle to tame this thing since i will prolly shut down with to much power or heat.
Hmm...interesting that you mention the R32 because I had heard those trannies were only designed to handle up to 300-310hp safely. Is someone putting down more power then that reliably? BTW, was it your Mirage that one the best in show at MOD this year?

Please don't quote me as I had heard this 3rd party but it might be an IHI unit.

The 08 r32 trans can barely take over 275hp... it's not comparable to the one in the RA/MR

No it was a friend of mine that did it with his AWD Mirage swap, he has some mag features coming up shortly. He has a very beautiful and rare mirage/evo coupe.

I thought the DSG trans was good for alittle more power but prolly i guess prolly not. Maybe 300 hp is the limit for the ralliart or less. I guess time will tell.

The 08 R32 is slow as *****, its 0-60 time is .4 seconds less than a normal GTI.

Pray it's not. If it's anything like the TD04 on the WRX (13T I believe), it'll be great below 5000 RPM but then quickly run out of steam. There's a reason why I'm switching to the VF43 and a lot of people go all out with a Mitsubishi turbo like a 16G or an 18G.

Lots and lots of conjecture, I hope they are great . The ra looks like it is ripe to mod, but we'll have to see. VW dsgs can be pushed to quite a bit of power if modded correctly. I hope the same holds true for the ra trans.
