Car and Driver Comparo is out
Good point, bad argument. We weren't comparing 4 cylinder turbos to v8's. We were comparing WRX vs. STI. Both 4 cylinder turbos. So they will feel more alike.
Anyone buying a new Subaru should consider the issues that have plagued the 08's. TruDelta uses actual repair data and not owner opinion so fanboys can't alter. You can see that the Impreza/WRX did horribly compared to even domestics. Subaru has gone to cheaper manufacturing processes with the 08's and it shows.

On the 08s yes, but that's no longer an issue anymore than broken gas pedals in the Evo. I love how that gets brought up in every thread as if it somehow changes the results of the test. The only way it does is if the WRX blows its motor so the Ralliart can actually pass it.

I have a feeling that the 09's will be amongst the worst cars in the industry much like the 08's seeing that the engine problem hasn't been fully rectified. You should feel vindicated that you bought the last year of the reliable Subarus.
I can't believe this is 7 pages already.. people ranting back and forth over stupid numbers because thats all that makes their e-***** feel bigger. Some people are just too ignorant to realize how much of an excellent car the RA is compared to most on that list.
thank you,
thread over

By the way, my truck is on that survey, I have been tracking it for 2 years. It is owner reported, so technically, it could be altered by Amby.
Well you can look at it that the Ralliart owners will be able to save their money for mods while Subaru guys will have to save money to keep the car running.

. Next time you call someone ignorant, make sure you don't have grammatical errors in your statement.
I been an Evo fanboy since i first heard its comin here in 2002. parrallel to that, I have also never liked the design/looks/much else about subbies...
but guys, even I have to admit that the decision in this magazine review was not just based on #'s... yes, whether a ringer or not, the Wrx whipped the Ralliart's behind, which is crucial since we are discussing sports sedans... but it was so much more than just #'s.
They point out that the Subbie had more to offer as standard equipment, was more pleasing inside, was quieter and offered a higher level of refinement.

Oh those don't count just like the 2 gas pedals don't count, the oil leaks don't count, the car that was lemon lawed doesn't count, the bad tunes don't count, the paint problems don't count, the Recaro seat problems don't count, etc.
