The new Si isn't a complete push over. I think the RA is a faster car don't get me wrong, but as a previous 07 si owner it isn' t that bad. Most people seem to run 14.7-15.0 stock, but I saw few 14.2-14.4 passes stock as well.

im not saying its a **** car, im just a little amused how they are ripping it apart and calling RA drivers ricer boys, when the civic is known to be the most riced out car in history. also did you read how they think their manual trannys are better than ours? *sigh* what is this world coming to....

The cars are good, yes.
But I dont see any 09RA's losing to em with bolt-ons.
Given we dont have a launch due to our tranny, they will take us off the line but we wll surely catch up fast and beat it.
From a roll is a whole different story.
The only reason the ra's numbers dont look that nice, is because a lack of launch control.

In that thread, post #6 says that the Ralliart is going to come in 5 spd. Is that true? Never heard of it.
The only Civic that I like, is the Mugen RR. Now that's a civic that I would buy.

I like the RA vs the world title haha. thats what it seems like sometimes.
as for the manual tranny... that thread was a year ago or so, but i think mitsu wont be doing a manual anytime soon. the SST has gotten so many positive comments, especially since it is in our 27k rides. I feel that manual trannys are slowly dying and because of the edge we get from our SST, i dont think mitsu has a reason to change the car around. a very small number of people turned the RA down because it didnt have a manual, and thinking like mitsu would have to think (money wise), i dont think it pays to cater to that small group.
but what the helll who cares what i think lol.

actually scratch that. RA vs Cobalt SS???
I read everywhere that the SS can beat the RA, but not sure which areas? Its hard to believe that a cobalt can beat our RA.... Is there anything we can do to beat it?
