Ralliart vs the world
A properly tuned 2.0 L WRX can be a pretty quick car, probably comparable to a Ralliart. The problem is getting a good tune, it's not easy and the simple design of the motor doesn't make for the torquest of cars. That said we have some local guys that are making ridiculous numbers on the stock turbo with meth injection and a lot of time getting the bugs out.
Neither the STI nor the Evo suffer from a lack of power under the curve so to speak, they both have quick spooling turbos and they both have a crap load of grunt. A RA with a TBE and a reflash will likely be equivalent to an Evo but with maybe a bit more throttle response down low given the smaller turbo size. The obvious problem will be a lack of top end, you can't have the best of both worlds.

How about this,
Being in the Detroit area, I've seen multiple 2010 Camaros on the road already, and most of which are V6 (not surprising in current state of economy, apparently people just want the new Camaro and not the SS price...) . I'd like to see how they run on a track and/or drag strip compared to our RAs.
2010 Camaro LS Coupe (V6, 298hp/268tq, curb weight (minus driver) 3780lbs)
Stock tires on the LS are 245/55 r18.
What do you guys think?

And our RA, "At the track our Ralliart test car sprinted to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and unreeled the quarter-mile in 14.2 seconds."

So it looks like, according to edmunds, we're .5 seconds faster than the v6 Camaro in the 1/4 mile. The SS, however, runs 1/4 mile @ 13.3~13.4.
According to Edmunds, "The V6 (Camaro) coupe will cover the quarter-mile in 14.5 seconds with an auto and 14.7 seconds with a manual, both at 97 mph."

nice
The s2000 driver can't drive! I had a s2k with just exhaust and I ran a 13.8. The driver is either not launching it at redline or he just simply can't drive.
