Ralliart vs the world
A 12 second 1/4 mile time should be possible for anyone with track experience. It might not be a 12.4, but it won't balloon to a 13.5. You're also missing the point. The Ralliart isn't "beating" a Corvette, the Ralliart driver is beating the Corvette driver and even that is debatable (an AWD automatic is a hell of a lot easier to launch than a RWD manual). It is idiotic because we're talking about a 30000$ souped up econobox (even Mitsubishi states this) vs. a lighter, higher HP, purpose built sports car. What's next, a Ralliart vs. Ferrari debate?
A car won't drive without a driver, so when it comes down to it, it is a drivers race.
Just some drivers are given a handicap with a more expensive/faster cars.
On paper the Vette should win, But its not hard to give up a second at the drag.
You stated that a RA wouldn't stand a chance, when in fact it does.

Fact of the matter is there are plenty of Vettes that run mid-low 13's. No matter if you like it or not, good or bad driver. Just like I seen the 09RA's do low 15's.
But my initial statement was that a "lightly" modded RA (AMS RA) vs a Vette , would be a better race and the RA would indeed stand a chance.
AMS RA is down to 12.8 with bolt-ons.
It's ok Amby I expect you to reply back with another excuse.

especially if you are driving a manual. missing gears, shifting too early.
and most importantly bad takeoff.

How am I "destroying" a thread, by being a voice of reason? Guess people want to just be able to say blatant bull**** without getting called on it. I wish I lived in a world where I could spew crap and not care.
