How am I suffering from a common sense problem? I live in the very city that the OP crashed in, over the course of a week I likely drove on most of the major roadways and was able to see most of the city. It's also been warm enough here that snow is not an issue. It hasn't rained either. There has been quite a bit of talk about street sweepers on the news. This was clearly a speed issue as the OP admits.
Once again, how can I be a troll when I've been here for 6 years and have thousands upon thousands of posts? If anything you're the troll since you joined a week ago and only have 2 posts, both of which are attacking me.

I won't even bother responding. You are too slow. I will just keep laughing as I read your response here.

i dont care if you people pity me or not...everything happens for a reason yeah i was a lil quick on my turn and i hit a curb directly after trying to gain control
There you go, now feel free to continue being condescending while having no idea what the hell you're actually talking about.

Listen Up. You are extremely annoying, road condition is not something that changes over few weeks but over couple seconds. He did admit he was speeding, but don't you think that if the road wouldn't be covered with gravel he wouldn't have lost control over his vehicle? Your 20000 views don't mean ****, it can mean you spend all day on forums without any basic knowledge of outside life. Just grow up man, you have lost an argument, it happens to everybody. Everyone knows that speed was a factor, we don't need a preacher lecturing us on how wrong of him it was to speed and that the gravel was not the fault of accident. There is no possible way of you knowing the road condition on that road at that time because you werent there. I might have 2 posts and joined a week ago, but im not the one saying i know about condition of every road in chicago, because i dont, and nobody knows.

Peace, Dominic.

The road isn't covered with gravel, jesus christ, this isn't a difficult issue. We have a wonderful system of street sweepers that brush all of the gravel away. As I said, I've driven on many of the roads and *gasp* unless you're driving like an idiot, gravel shouldn't be an issue. If the Ralliart is this great performer, that further proves my point that gravel wasn't the issue. If we were talking about a 1976 Suburban, sure, but we're not. The car isn't going to go into a slide and roll several times if he's just cruising around going the speed limit. This isn't rocket science but apparently it does take a scientist to get it.

Do you know which road he crashed on, or which part of the road he crashed at... No you dont, so don't give me that "the road is clear" cause your not even looking at the road. I never drove in the 09 RA, but all cars can lose control at higher speed, and especially on gravel or water. He did admit he was speeding, but if he didn't hit the patch of gravel he would of drove straight on the road without going into the curb. That's what we all have been trying to tell you.If there was no gravel, he wouldn't his car wouldn't have slid on it and hit a curb. Just understand that and stop posting. If your 20000 posts are all filled with gibberish, it isint anywhat good for you, it just shows people to stay away from posts that you make. But w/e, once again, really to hear what happened to the OP.

Peace, Dominic.

Amby, I know you live in the same city and all, but I find it hard to believe that you know ALL roads are clear there. I have to disagree with you there.

But I do have to agree with you that a little patch of gravel doesn't cause a sporty (?) car to slide and roll.

Finally, the OP said he was speeding and he also said the roads weren't clear. We either have to agree with both of those or disagree with both. He was the only one there at the time so I have to agree with him.

I asked what road he crashed on. I find it absolutely ridiculous that people who don't live in the same country as the OP are arguing with someone who can look out their window and see the conditions.
Let's use some logic here. He said he hit a curb and flipped. Now then, to do that, you have to hit the curb sideways. He also said he was turning at the time. I'm guessing he was on a residential road/not a main, high speed road, hit the gravel, slide and smoked the curb. Speed is the issue. If he went straight, he would have hit the curb.

He also claimed to have rolled 5 or 6 times only to state later on that he was exaggerating. Personally I wouldn't put much weight in his claims of how terrible the roads are.

^ there was definately no need for you to post 3 times to say all that. You could've made it all one thread. The post-***** thread is else where.

In regards to this topic, leave the OP alone, he's probably angry at himself no need to rub it in!
