Good Review From Top Gear

You freely admit to not reading my posts, yet you continue to argue against them. Yeah, I'm the troll
. This attitude is what is wrong with this forum
.
. The suspension was stiffened up a lot though.
man this is just too much what if the car is area dependent like some posted 2009 evo x is 0-60 in 5.4 and 291 hp well in the middle east we get 295 hp (so they say) but the 0-60 times are around 4.7 to 4.9 in the hot weather of 125 Fahrenheit . but some claim to have actually hit the factory number 4.5s personally i havent gone that insane yet even the subbies here get more power the basic choice that made me buy the evo over the subbie was that it's awd system is far more superior subbie's on the other hand i just despised it when they launched the hatch back version so it all really depends on the persons choice and not the stupid argument about which is faster
This is why people hate lawyers. They pick semantic facts to argue anything, and use it as an absolute, as tho nothing can exist outside of this bubble they have created (if the glove don't fit you must acquit"). That is the "closed minded" statements that people make about you. Yes you ultimately concede that it is not the absolute, but it took what, 3 pages? The whole reason you come through is see if anyone will play Debate Class with you; "please choose 3 sources, with a carefully constructed 3 stage argument, and 3 rebuttals; oh and you have 3 minutes between each rebuttal, I will be timing you". Well done professor, now you can tip your glasses and look down your nose at all the simple folk who aren't on your level
Obviously this is hugely beneficial to any community, no wonder the towns people cheer when you show up.
Just once, one single time, try to enter without an intentional instigation. Or go back to Off Topic and you can have long winded debates about the benefits of...windshield wipers (yes I know Eric is your buddy, that's all good and dandy; that gives you a reason to say "not everyone"). Everyone else is here for mutual betterment, you are not; that is what makes a Troll.

It is hilarious you find the use of sources so offensive. Clearly you didn't do much science in school
.So let me get this straight, you've spend the majority of your posts bashing me yet I'm the one that is bad for this community? I have provided real data to back up my points and have consistently said the differences between the two cars at issue here are fairly minor and people need to decide for themselves which is right for them. By contrast, you've made unsupported statements that you refuse to back up and attributed opinions to other people that they do not have. How the hell is that better for the community that having frank and down to earth discussions? You're right, your blind fanboyism is far better for evom than data and reality
. By "mutual betterment" I can only assume you actually mean circle jerk for Ralliart owners as that's the only thing that fits the bill here. You appear to want all discussions to only be in favor of the car you personally own and you're getting upset that someone can provide data, old data at that, indicating that another vehicle is faster and performs better out of the box than the car you happen to own. Lawyers don't do what you are saying they do. Once again, you are attributing characteristics to people that they do not have. If a lawyer acted as you are suggesting, they would be out of a job very quickly.

I am not quite sure what I did, particularly in this thread, that warranted me being called out.
Once again, it's not what Amby says, it's the manner in which he goes about it; and apparently in his mind so long as "not everyone" disapproves, it is acceptable. It's the reason why so many of the beneficial members of this community spend increasing amounts of time in EvoX. It gets old having these pointless semantic arguments over and over again.
There is a time and place for that, but it's not every time and every place.

I'm not shooting across your bow Eric (it's all good), just accounting for his defensive insistence of "not everyone".

. For the past 5 or more pages, all you've done is go after me personally. I posted data. Zomg, that is so insulting!
Oh no, I used the phrase "better perfomer", zomg, rally the Ralliart boys and get a posy together! This thread exploded because I responded to a clear question by a member and some people took offense to the objective reviews of 3 independent sources. Now then, what time and place are you referring to?

Some elements, sure, but I doubt you'd argue gravity or Newtonian physics at this point in time. Moreover, you're missing the point; the use of sources and references is an established practice is most professional fields. It is especially necessary on an online forum where you have no idea whether someone is telling the truth or making it up as they go along.

Very true, but it all had to start somewhere. I'm by no means questioning your data. I can read and do the math. Doller for dollar, wrx is the better off the show room floor. As far as mods go. I don't care. My car is now a motorized baby stroller.
