Help with Nav

I was wondering if any of you guys knew where the safty to keep from watching DVD's while car is running is? and how i can go around it so i can play movies while my car is on... K thx

Will have to download/burn a cd to load some different modified software, but people here have confirmed it working.

Installing a switch to trick the unit into thinking the parking brake is on.

Both methods appear to work.

With my Panasonic unit when it was installed in my old Impreza, I just put the handbrake wire on a screw under the cupholder/handbrake area. This grounds the wire, which is basically what's happening when you pull up on the handbrake. On mine you can actually check the install status and it'll tell you if the handbrake is on.
