No, fits with room to spare (for an even larger intercooler)

Ok so I want an Evox Intercooler and i'm going to get the AMS UICP. But my question is the stock ralliart lower pipe does work fine? All you need is the coupler thats 2.5" to 2" correct?

Or what are my options for a hard pipe that are similar to the stock pipe?

Correct, the lower stock pipe will work fine, but I think it's a tight fit because the X intercooler is a couple inches wider. I don't recall what the correct size coupler is, though.

I opted to go with the stock X lower pipe which came with a correctly-sized coupler. I think the X lower pipe is a worthwhile upgrade as well, considering there is a huge "dimple" bottleneck in part of the RA's.

I am installing the WORKS intercooler for the Ralliart.
http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...oducts_id=1039

The guys at WORKS told me that I need to upgrade the upper/lower IC pipes to the EVO X version for this to fit. I was planning on going with the T1R upper kit and the Ultimate-Racing LICP. http://www.ultimate-racing.com/Produ...CPipeKit.shtml

I guess my question is do I order the LICP for the ralliart or the EVO X? My thought is the one for the Ralliart will fit better and I will only need to make sure I get the right size adapter to fit the 2.5 inlet size on the new IC.

By the one for the ralliart. The spot where the tube for the bpv islonger. The aftermarket inlets and outlets are the same on the two.

Yes, go with the UR Ralliart version. You should be able to reuse the stock hoses connecting the LICP to the BOV instead of fabbing up something like I had to with the X LICP.

You're talking about the posts on the ends of the intercooler, that fit into the rubber hangers? They should work. One of the aftermarket IC's (CBRD? I don't recall...) requires you to reuse them from the stock IC. The last owner probably upgraded and needed to use his old stock parts.

I don't think the stock RA fmic has removable posts, the previous owner of mine kept his since he installed a Arc fmic and I ended up not bolting it up without that hanger and it's been fine. The dealership doesn't sell just the post so if anyone knows where to get it, I'll buy it so that I can secure it properly

So does the Ultimate Racing upper and lower IC pipes work without any modification on the evo x IC?

Is their any significance between the AMS and Ultimate Racing UICP? They are such a big difference in price. I'm just guessing quality?
