Patch: Force OBD Inspection Pass (acamus, mrfred)

you could always try these, go get inspected and if you fail, that should clue you into what the perfect settings should be.

is this it?
When i plug it in to my computer (i started with the same rom as you, later moved on to tephra mod): this is what came up for the settings:
Based on that, it doesn't look like any of the patching has been applied.
you need to make sure that the following steps are followed:
Non-Continuous Monitor Completion Patch
@36796 DA2A -> EAFF
@36798 6AA1 -> 6AA7
Non-Continuous Monitor Availability Patch Part 1
from 4019 to E000
Non-Continuous Monitor Availability Patch Part 2
from 6AA1 to EAFF
If you can fix those, then hopefully your availability chart will show accurately and you will be changing the settings you think you are changing.
This is a question directed at the others on the forum:
Would the fact that i've moved on to tephra v7 affect the regular ROM and how it appears when i bring his ROM up in my ECUFlash? Am i seeing what i think i'm seeing, or does all the hex values not match up because of what i did to upgrade to tephra (and an altogether different ROM).
You'll have to forgive me, because i haven't done this in well over a year and don't have the time to brush up on all the upgrades i did before trying to help evoh8 out.
The real question: If i update the rom from my machine and send it back to him, is there risk of it messing something up? I wouldn't think so, since i regularly switched between ROMs on my Evo (back and forth from tephra to regular) when i originally did the upgrade.

Septagent -
You are right, I installed the patch on my new laptop today and noticed the same thing. I changed it now. I'll reflash it and take it in for inspection next week. I'll let you know if it worked.
Question to all, for Monitor avail/not Avail and Monitor passed/Not Passed should they both be the same and go as follows? :
EGR System 1
Oxygen Heater Sensor 1
Oxygen Sensor 1
A/C System Refrigerant 0
Secondary Air System 0
Evaporative System 1
Heated Catalyst 0
Catalyst 1
ROM# 94170008 2003 Evo 8
I have a Tactrix Openport 2.0 - is there any special patches or anything I need to do that could prevent me from flashing my ECU?
Another question - is there a way for evoscan to be able to tell if these are ready/not ready without having to go to a service shop?
Thanks

When I change these to not available it changes the hex codes for my Non-Continuous Monitor Availability Patch #2 from the recommended E000 to EAE5. Is this going to pass inspection?

I haven't used EvoScan recently, but you can use Scantech (free software) to check the readiness monitors. That way you will know for sure if you will pass inspection before you go.
do you have a copy of scantech? i tried to find it the other night, but it seemed every link was broken.
Can someone tell me how to check the readiness monitors using evoscan? I cant get scantech to recognize its plugged into my car.

I did the mod myself and it worked!
I just donated $25 to Tephra. Everyone else who uses this mod successfully should do the same!
Killerpenquin21 - PM me your paypal address. I owe you $50 for your help.

Things should be back to normal at this point.
