All 04 Lancers(all trims) have DRLs built into the ECU. I guess we're screwed.

psy-q you confirmed this?

seems odd that they wuold do that since the US models don't have it and it would be two sets of ECUs for the same car

Yup, right from Mitsubishi. I got a chance to look over the circuit diagrams.

Well modding season has started again so i'm bringing this topic back from the dead.

I've confirmed that the 02-03 Lancers DO have a DRL ECU located just below the front left headlight. If you pull the covers off underneath and look up from below the car it's a silver box. Unplug it and tada, DRL free.

The 04-05 Lancers have all the holes drilled into the body for this, but it is missing. Obviously this is due to my findings last year, that it is built into the main ECU now.

Do USDM 04-05 Lancers have DRLs? If not can i get a model number for both ECUs(4G94 & 4G69).
