Cobb AP: ?s on product, features, and various maps incl Perrin maps go here [merge]
I got a question, is there a way to check my 1/4mile time,60ft,trap without uploading a map ? this way i can get numbers for the intake and exhaust without the stage 2 map, then numbers for Stage 2 map+intake or exhaust ?
I am not sure if this can be done without marrying the AP, but you can use the "Installed Stock Mode" map, which is the stock map, for these purposes.
isnt the ap manager supposed to be version 1.2.2.2...i updated it from cobbs site and all but it still says version 1.2.2.1
also
I ran the dyno log on the ap and everything went fine, then i go into the accesport manager and upload the log from the AP and when i save it to the folder i select nothing gets saved in the folder ? any idea whats wrong ?

There are some protection system in the ECU that put the car into a fault mode if the airflow/torque exceed specified limits based on tables. The feature they have implemented bypasses these checks.
Those are Stage 1 mods. If it was me, I would not get the ARC box but use that money to add a O2/Downpipe and HFC. Then you can use the Stage 2 map.
I already have the ARC Box but dont have the UICP and Cat-back yet. Can I use the Stage 1 even though I would have a UICP and cat-back? Or does it have to be completely stock except for the intake in order to use stage 1? And would I use either the AEM or AMS map because they havent created one for the ARC Box? And if I were to ADD the downpipe and HFC to that list could I run a stage 2 map?

ARC Box
Nisei UICP
Tanabe Cat-back
But which currently offered intake(AEM, AMS, Injen) map would I use with my ARC Box?

Cobb says that a cat-back doesnt really affect the stage 1 tune, just mainly the intake. But what about an Upper Intercooler Pipe?
It's a toss up. Some people argue there is no bad effect, but I believe I have seen some posts complanining about a CEL. My AMS UIC pipe and a IC should arrive this week, together with my E85 goodies. I will see what it do on the Stage 2 map but I'm also going to see my local Cobb plant in Plano in a few weeks time to get it "calibrated". If you don't have access to a Cobb tuner your are pretty much on your own with the pipes.
