More boost, different timing, a bit more aggressive than the COBB map. Not sure on the details. That is what Perrin told me when I asked.

You either have to buy your AP from Perrin and get it free, like I did, or buy it from them for like $180.

I just got my AP from Perrin and currently running the 93 stage 1 map. I see that some people are using a panel filter for their intake with an otherwise stock setup. Does the filter make any difference and does this have Perrin's blessing?

I bought the panel filter from Perrin, so yes it does have their blessing, at least for the Perrin drop in. Chris told me the only trouble they have run into is with the Works filter. Runs too lean or something. Here is the email.

Our panel filter will be fine with our tune, and every other
filter that
I've seen also works, except for the works filter. If you have
any more
questions, let me know, thanks!

The only thing I have noticed is a slight increase in intake noise. But I have read that they have dynoed the Perrin filter for another 10 whp and 13 wtq.

I know I am hitting 25.x psi with the Perrin map vs the 24 psi boost target listed on the map notes for the COBB map.

Cobb stg 1 93

Typical Performance Gains

Stage 1: +19.3% HP and +9.0% TQ

What gear are you hitting 26? I hit 25 in 3rd, haven't tried other gears.

How are you getting 32%, from my calculations from the chart I see a 24.5% increase. 240 to 318 tq? I also just see a 16.1% increase in HP, again just going by the above chart with initial hp at 241.1 and tuned HP at 287.5. Or am I doing my math wrong? I think I am. If that is so that means the Perrin map increases torque 32% versus only 9% for the Cobb map. That's a big increase.

Typical Performance Gains

Perrin stg 1 93
+19.2% HP and +32.2% TQ

No matter what the results I cant complain. Perrin gave me a great deal for the AP with custom map and panel filter for $677 shipped. Thank you Perrin for the great service and deal.

I did 241/287=16% and 240/318=24.5%

I am terrible at math.

Either way the torque figure seems way inflated, but maybe that's the extra kick you get with the Perrin map. So according to Perrin's dyno graph, with just a tune I am putting down 318 wtq.

Now that I look at the graph more in depth it says flywheel torque and hp. So now I am really confused at the numbers because the baseline is way below what is expected stock like 291 hp and 300 lbft torque. I give up.

yea that just tells you the 241 is 84% of 287 and doesnt compare it back to the original number
