Cobb AP: ?s on product, features, and various maps incl Perrin maps go here [merge]
Maybe I am the only one who is confused by this, but what I think you are saying is can you run a Stage 2 map with ONLY a FMIC and UICP and LICP. The answer to that would be no.
Now like all the others in this thread thus far have said if you meet the TBE requirement and want to add the FMIC and ICP's than yeah you should be good.
Am I missing something?

im pretty much in the same boat as you my man i have a custom tbe and am getting the injen intake and uicp it seems like a sweet set up, and i am getting the ap the tuner said he will send me a custom tune for the evo x with those mods i hope it all works out
You should use the 91 octane maps for 92 octane. In my opinion, using 92 octane fuel against a 93 octane map will not keep knock retard in check. The WGDC and timing tables are slightly different (more aggresive) between 91 & 93 octane. Alternatively, a custom for 92 octane would sort you out.
Thanks bro...i am a little concern purchasing a cobb ap just the fact that this is the first time im using this. Is there anyone in this forum using the cobb ap 91 octane stg 1 map running on 92 octane? if so any problem at all? im just looking for a mild mod for my car and the cobb ap sounds great is just the fact that is missing a base map for 92oct. I know i still can purchase it and have it custom tuned but i dont know anyone that does it here in washington.

Cobb AP question
Just wanted to ask you guys if theres any way I can ask cobb to reboot my AP for my evo. I recently got into a car accident and my insurance adjuster said that the car wont even start since the wires got shredded. Now, I cant unmarry my AP from my evo so was wondering if I can ask cobb to reboot it or something. I don't really want to get stuck with a useless AP. I would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks in advance.
