I'm sure they wont be able to see it with a simple diagnostics test. With my WRX, I always switched to stock map when in for service. I forgot once and the service guy noticed (it was only stage 2), but didn't say anything. He just lauged and said it felt good.

Mannnn that was a lot of pages to read! So I was talking to one of the tech's at cobb and he was saying after each reflash you should drive the car 15 mins normally before getting on to it. He said the ECU needs to relearn stuff (I forget what he said exactly so "stuff" will suffice). Has anyone else heard of this or even do it? Makes sense but I haven't read anyone saying anything about taking that step.

Thanks

605 replies, and not one from an Australian?

I want to buy a COBB AP, just need to find someone here that sells them for the Evo X. All the COBB dealers here seem to only deal with Nissan

Also, considering we use the RON fuel ratings here, and I use 98 RON, would that mean I need the 93 OCT tune?

Finally, my car was built in Nov 2008, but was sold as (and is considered) a 2009 model.... which maps would I need?

Thanks!

I bought mine from Forged Performance in Murietta GA. I'm sure they can send one to you if you are having issues finding someone there who sells them.

Hey guys... just wondering if anyone here knows how to increase the logging rate.. I guess that's what you would call it... Golden, maybe you could tell them what i'm trying to say. Ok, i'm only logging about 2 entries a second, is there a way to increase that amount?

Called Cobb: It depends on how many items are being logged.

Issue with OTS map w/ Video

Sup guys. I flashed the car this morning to the stg1 (93oct) v1.06 map; previously running the same map but v1.04. Every time I turn on the A/C, the rpms jump way up.

(Tranny in D-normal, foot all the way on the brake)

Notice how when I turn the A/C off at the last time the rpms dropped way below normal idle, almost stalling itself before it rev'd (that last jab of the rpms after the dip was done all by the car).

Going to switch back to my v1.04. Anyone got any insight??

Mendo,

There is an issue with the v106 MR maps. You can get a new map by emailing calibration@cobbtuning.com. We are dealing with these maps on a case by case basis until we can find a comprehensive solution. We will make a formal announcement when this fix is available.
