Hey guys.
I made a thread about safe parameters of cobb tuning values. Please contribute. We all can log. But what do those values mean??!! See link below.

I am new to AP thats why I am a little confused to what actually takes place and why its better than a flash (only in the respect NOT the fact that you can do it yourself and everything else.

Has anyone had their screen die on them? I took mine out of my glovebox after a few months of non-use and the entire screen is completely dark. I emailed Cobb to see what they can do, just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

I've heard of it happening in rare instances, but this is why I don't leave my AP in the car. Heat, vibration, etc. isn't good for electronics.

Not really an issue anymore...my 2011 came with a new AP. I suppose I'll have Cobb fix the old one so I can sell it.

It's due to the heat or cold. If you check Cobb's site, it states this.

I just bought a 2008 and the ap came with it but I can't read the screen as its too dim. Going to need to get this taken care of quick. I believe they only charge $25 to replace the screen. Wanted to change from this stage 3 Perrin map to a stage 2 Cobb map since I heard the Perrin maps are prone to knock.

On my GT-R's, the battery died during the Cobb w/TCM installation. Is this the case with the EVO as well? Do I need to hook the car up to a charger while doing the install? This is for a '10 MR-T. I do realize that the TCM installation took forever on the GT-R and the installation was fine as soon as I hooked up a charger to the car in trickle mode.
thanks

I've never had a map install take more than 2 minutes, usually ~30secs ...never had an issue with the battery
