Well I finally won a race!!!!! After having my car serviced I wasn't sure whether to go back to the track because my rotated tires seemed kind a slick. Anyhow I ran two crappy times against this Saturn. He ran a 16.718 the first time to my 17.220, his buddy ran me and had a 16.901 to my 17.175. I was sooooo P O'd because I ran a 16.878 last time with out the new spark plugs and stuff.

Anyway last race of the night for us I decided to go through the water trap as he was doing and most people have said is worthless for street tires. Anyway this time I ran a career best time of 16.804 to his 16.858 and spanked him!!!!!!!!

He claims he could not hook up because his tires were too wet. Not sure but a few cars later they closed his side of the track to clear off something before resuming dual runs.

I shaved off nearly a whole second this time. I need to get my eibachs put on to keep the front from hopping as badly as it does.

I am soo happy though. 3rd time to the track to finally win a race.

I don't understand how this is possible. He left the line marginally ahead but then lost traction in 60' but then his speeds were higher on the way down the track.

Oh well a win is a win. WE decided to race each other all night instead of getting the odd mustang and other 14 second car. This was much more enjoyable.

Oh he had a new 1.9L sohc saturn 2 door. It was lowered with a body kit and some 17 inch wheels. He fabricated an intake from an eclipse model and had a free flow cat with HKS exhaust.
